I’ve known every shade and stripe of unusual character in my life… transvestites, transsexuals, intersexed, homosexual, fetishists, polygamists, polyamorists… I could go on. Point is they’ve always been with us. It’s just now that these things are becoming more socially acceptable, we’re hearing about them more.

The oddb~~~~ are coming out of the closets and the woodwork and pretty soon we’re going to figure out that just about everyone is an oddball in some way or another. My mother is into black guys, my great aunt is a weed smoking lesbian… hell I’ve probably made out with a trap at least once in my life without even realizing it (or caring!).

Chaos (the good kind) is on the rise. It’s a good thing the squares didn’t manage to start killing off all the “undesirables” back in the 50s and 60s or else by now there wouldn’t be anyone left.

Doc, that is a very mature post.

And Hitman does point out a good question. What is going on? Up until a
few years ago, the media would not even mention the transgendered. What
is going on?

Though, on a side note. There is one subject I have never seen really
discussed on this forum. While one can debate what is going on inside
the mind of someone trangendered. No one talks about those that are
intersex, whom clearly have physical evidence that their bodies,
genitals, and even reproductive organs, have male and female traits.

I know this is not a confortable subject to talk about. And it may not
be the right time to address it. But, the intersex issue will eventually
come up in the MGTOW radar, and matter will have to be discussed.

I don’t get the mind of a transgender person. I was assuming with homosexuality as being pushed as acceptable, that would allow for certain things in society. But, now you have feminists saying “patriarchy” and gender roles are social constructs on the one hand, and you then have transgenders saying they have the wrong body? And if things are so man dominated, then why would anyone who has the body of a man think they are a woman?

I don’t really get this at all personally. Each can do whatever they want with their lives. I just worry about what personal utility I have with them, no matter who they are, and ignore almost all that personally.

For me, if push comes to shove, I would rather not say “Men do X” and “women do Y” then have it so that those with the body of a man or woman think because society says so and so, they have the wrong body. That is me personally, you do differently as you choose.

On another note, I believe if the population gets large enough, even small numbers have a chance to get blown out of proportion in relevance. Add in YouTube, and the likes of Jenners, and you what you have now.

Intersex is such a rare occurrence that you could go your entire life and never meet one. I get around… I dated a person who was intersexed. It was complicated. This is a situation where appearance and identity really are fluid. This individual appeared to be female and identified as such but you could tell there were strong masculine traits. Her business parts were closer to typical female… like a vagina with an oversized clitoris… so physically speaking it wasn’t a problem for me.

Personality wise, however… aside from not being able to let the intersex thing go (despite me being okay with it) she could be a real aggressive asshole. It was like having a cranky woman and a douche bro in the same body. Not appealing. Didn’t last long. But boy did I get an education.

And that’s why I can’t imagine why anyone would want to do something similar to that to themselves on purpose. Sure, there are probably men with higher estrogen levels and women with higher testosterone levels who think and behave more like the other sex than normal, but there’s also pussy guys who want the benefits they see women getting and angry women who want the benefits they see men getting… neither of which truly understand the costs the other side must pay for those benefits.

People who transition for these socio-economic reasons you can usually spot easily because they represent in their clothing and behavior the most extreme examples of the sex they wish to be… absurdly sexualized for the M to F and ridiculously butch for the F to M. That’s just my experience, though, your mileage may vary.
