Tom Leykis is an awesome guy. He is good at seeing things for what they are. I called into his show once. He was brutally honest and gave me some really helpful advice.

    Tom Leykis has my approval.

    Broken/missing Link?

Jan – I’ve been listening to him for about 10 years off and on. He’s pretty sharp and generally advocates in the same direction as MGTOW. I do get a bit of a “full of s~~~: vibe from him from time to time though. For example, he spent a full 5-10 minutes one day saying how important it was to call in when he gives out the phone number on the show.

So then on “Wide open Phones” (WOP) I did just that. I called in and was going to talk about a topic he had recently discussed on the show. Keep in mind this is “Wide open phones” where you can talk about anything (supposedly). After sitting on hold for damn near 45 minutes, DIno (call screener etc) came on and said “we’re going in another direction” and gave me the boot.

Yet he’s on there constantly saying how I need to call in now and feed the content kitty.

Another time I listened to him berate a guy who works in IT, beginning career, and couldn’t keep a job for more than six months like it was the poor guys fault. I’ve been in IT for 20+ years now and if someone has been at a job for a long time (10+years) it’s a HUGE red flag. Guys like that are often ten years behind. Nothing wrong with frequent job changes in IT – it’s the norm.

That’s not how it came off on Tom’s show though.

Overall, I give him a thumbs up and am still a fairly regular listener, just watch the BS factor when you listen.

Great guy, haven’t seen any recent stuff on YouTube from him though, only 2003 radio shows.

Ever since I took his advice:

The gif you posted, Skankspanker, is from an episode of the old Jack Lord Hawaii 5-Oh series. I saw it on a re-run a few months back and remember thinking how such a scene could never be filmed for a TV series today.

He’s got a lot of valid observations on women and puts up with none of their s~~~. He’s no longer on radio but I think online
