Women are enrolling in college more than men, according to Pew Research data, and now account for 47 percent of the total U.S. labor force, as reported by the United States Department of Labor. Meanwhile, gender inequality is still entrenched in corporate America, especially in executive positions.
In S&P 500 companies, women account for ONLY 25 CEO positions—just 5% of the list.

The 5-Point Action Plan
The Paradigm for Parity® 5-Point Action Plan is designed to help companies accelerate the pace of achieving gender parity. Based on extensive research and best practices, this is the first set of specific actions that, when concurrently implemented, will catalyze change and enable companies to more effectively increase the number of women in leadership positions.

Minimize or Eliminate Unconscious Bias. Initiate unconscious bias training. Engage women and men at all levels, starting with the CEO and senior leadership. Ensure that your company leaders comprehend, own and address the conscious and unconscious biases that prevent women from succeeding.2
Significantly Increase the Number of Women in Senior Operating Roles. Make full gender parity (50/50) your ultimate goal. As a near term goal, target that a single gender will not account for more than 70% of a leadership level, from the Executive Management Group downward. Move to 60% as a medium term goal.3
Measure Targets at Every Level and Communicate Progress and Results Regularly. Set measurable goals and hold yourself and your senior team accountable. Communicate results to your wider organization and board. Expect meaningful progress each year, with the aim of parity by 2030. Work with investors as they increase the pressure to measure and monitor diversity progress. Share statistics with other CEOs and consider publishing results over time.4
Base Career Progress on Business Results and Performance, Not on Presence. Give women and men control over where and how they work, whenever workable. Acknowledge the needs and expectations of Millennials, an important talent pool. Find ways to work more flexibly to meet the needs of all employees. Create cultural change so that working flexibly is embraced, and not an underused and over talked about benefit.5
Identify Women of Potential and Give Them Sponsors, as well as Mentors. Meritocracy is an often used, and more importantly misused, belief because our biases affect our view of performance and merit. Women of all backgrounds need career sponsors and access to networks of influence. Men, who are still the majority of leadership, have a critical role to play in advocating for women, both internally and in the wider corporate world. Look for the best within your organization and help them to succeed by assigning each woman a mentor and a sponsor.————————————————————
————————————————————So what percentage of women are garbage collectors, truck drivers, laborers, and other physically difficult jobs that may or may not be in an air conditioned building?
Must have missed the meeting where it was decided companies no longer exist to be the most profitable they can, and pay shareholders/investors.
Women want everything, but want responsibility and accountability for nothing.

How about fixing the rank and file ratio…I dont see women lining up on taking out the trash, doing mining, cleaning the sewers, plumbing and a host of other stuff that are supposed to be “gender equal”…If they want it to be equal, then start from the f~~~ing bottom…
All the women wanted are the plush high paying jobs without the effort needed to attain that position. They want it to be handed to them on a platter instead of earning the right to sit on the corporate table…

It seems that mangina man Kavanaugh hasn’t learned his lesson about avoiding women and now 100% of his law clerks are female. I can’t wait until one of them accuses him of getting drunk on beer one night and looking at her funny. He is a known possible a rapist. And cis white male scum.

Jeebus it would be disastrous. Men would have to go back and redo all the s~~~ the women did. Now I know there are some guys who are slackers and do a poor job but when they harm a businesses reputation that business cans them. Women will fil lawsuits for being canned for ineptitude and harming the business and claim they were not trained, they were told to do it wrong, fake harassment claims, anything to duck the blame and responsibility.

This morning I just feel so tired of all this gender pay gap s~~~. We live in a world where a cleaner is paid the same as a bin man according to the council the jobs are equivalent, so the women got a pay rise. It just takes the p~~~ out of hard working men. Men are seriously underpaid in the hard dirty jobs but they keep doing them because it gives them self respect and they like working with other men. This is still not good enough. The gender pay gap needs to widen a lot to become fair.
The answer is a blue collar male general strike. I know a lot of stuff is mechanised but women are less capable than ever these days. They really would not hold out long but boy would they bitch.

This morning I just feel so tired of all this gender pay gap s~~~. We live in a world where a cleaner is paid the same as a bin man according to the council the jobs are equivalent, so the women got a pay rise.
I recall the 1970’s.
The bin men (entirely male) went on strike and everyone noticed pretty damn quick, particularly in London.
In one of the London Boroughs, all the social workers (mainly female), went on strike for 5 years. No-one noticed except the police, who admitted that crime actually went down.
Women should have thought about that before the #metoo movement, title 9 and Kavanaugh. Welcome to the exit door women, you are to much of a risk.
