Today is Single Parent's Day

Didn’t know that was a thing until just a minute ago. I guess the only thing that surprises me is that it isn’t called Single Mother’s Day. But hey, we all know how many single parents out there are dads, don’t we?

So, I am taking a minute out of my day to celebrate all of the Single Mother’s out there. As my way of contributing, I’m going to do my best to keep you single so you continue to get the attention you so richly deserve. It’s the least I can do for single mothers. And, never let it be said that TaxGuy didn’t do the absolute least he could do to help out single mothers everywhere.

You Go Gurls!!!! I’d love to stick around, but I’m going to leave you with your kids now and go do WHATEVER THE F~~~ I WANT!!!!!!!!

It’s factually impossible to conceive a child with a single parent. Unless you believe in immaculate conception, which science deems unlikely.

Stopping a child from seeing the other parent is a form of child abuse.

So, technically, it’s Child Abuse Day.

And as for Mother’s Day, every day is mother’s day.

i didn’t know either tax guy.
my ex has primary custody of the kid.
yet it’s ME who spends the majority of time with the child.
.
lawyer told me it might cost upwards of 50,000 $ to fight ,
and NO gaurantee of winning full custody.
so i leave the legal aspect alone,
time passes and,
I’M RAISING THE KID .
.
so congrats to the single parents..
the lucky kid’s have a father in the picture.
i am not the norm,
rather i’m the exception.
..
the system sucks.
it favors women over men,
and it costs crazy money to fight back.
..i told the ex if she wanted to play tug of war ,
i will LET GO OF THE KID COMPLETELY.
she knew i meant it.
it worked.
..not an ideal situation,
but better than most have it..

As a man who is not married and has kids that I financially support and see on a regular basis…hell no. This is a fact of life, not something to be celebrated.

The vast majority of parents are like me, they are not raising the kid alone. They don’t have the kid full time or they are getting financial assistance from the other parent, government, or their own parents. I would say ‘maybe’ if it was Widow’s Day, but that’s about it. And of course, quite a bit of these single parents are single for a reason, something they are to be blamed for.

Instead of celebrating a Single Parent Day, how we just get out of the way and let Dad’s do their job?

Kids are to expensive to run the risk of owning I mean renting like an apartment with a restraining order to make you pay to stay away.

I raised 3 solo when my wife dumped all of us for a Chad. I was given full custody per her request.
More proof fathers are better at raising kids.

Was having a beer with my buddy yesterday after turkey hunting (busted a coyotes ass BTW) and decent looking bartender kept talking about being a single mother. How hard it was. How someone stole her savings.

I felt like grabbing her by the ears and screaming, “SHUT THE F~~~ UP – I’m trying to enjoy my beer and you’re bitching and crying is ruining it!”

13% down here. Far more likely to work full time than single mothers, less likely to have kids go to gaol, etc etc etc.
