Dads rule. My dad was cast out by my mother at 35, lost his house and access to my sister and I. Ok he remarried but he’s genuinely happy now and had the last laugh.

    Great share NT.

At least one company gets it. Kudos to MetLife.

They could do a female version – “My mum lies…” but the reason for the lying would be very different, “…because she wants to get her holes filled.”

Don’t think the advertising standards people would let that one pass.

Well my old man is a royal dirt bag.

To those following me, be careful, I just farted. Men those beans are killers.

My dad is not worth mentioning, but now that I’m a dad I try to be a good one to my sons.

My old man has worked bloody hard for his family. Now at retirement age and well into his 70’s, he’s a tough old bastard but his hard years of working have definantly taken it’s toll. I tried to get him to retire in his early 60’s but I guess he was set in his ways, and didn’t mind getting out of the house. Love him, but it’s a rough road to the finish line.

My dad worked his ass off. I grew up below the poverty line, but he and my mom were at points working two jobs each just so my sister and I would have Christmas presents. He never really appreciated the example he set for me until about 6 months ago when I made a point to tell him.

Hopefully my son one day pulls me aside and says the same.
