I see KM and Co. have reestablished the “thumbs down” clickable. This my vote to have “thumbs down” removed again and kept gone.
That’s just me: I’m a “thumbs up” kind of guy. “Thumbs down” upsets my oh-so-delicate digestion. “Burrp!”
Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?
hey roy, i was gonna give your post a “thumbs down ” but i couldn’t do it to you !
A little peak at the past.
January 2015.
This guy was one of several wandering around the forum downvoting posts of people who said something they didn’t like. It got so ridiculous that members were losing 100’s of points.
That’s probably one of the reasons why it disappeared soon after.
Negative side effect of the recent updates. Wasn’t meant to appear.
Having a “like button only” is very girly because women always think they are right about everything. Like there is NO WAY she can be down-voted or wrong. But we had some bliegerant t~~~ts sign up in the past just to down-vote posts. Their vaginas got so damp from our site, they couldn’t take it. …. so they started machine-gun hammering the “down” button as if clicking it would somehow change the truth.
Facebook and their “like button” is for women and gays. The +1 here is also an indicator that we read it, and appreciated – even though we didn’t necessarily reply.
If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.If someone disagrees with something I say, that’s fine by me, I’d like to hear/discuss what issues are there and either defend or adjust my position. Sniping from behind the shield of anonymity is to be expected of women and children, not men.
To me, I would honestly like a thumbs down button simply because women are the ones who don’t like to be disagreed with or hear any opinion contrary to their own. If it were a perfect world. Unfortunately there are constant trolls on the sight, and women creeping around so it would do more harm than good.
I personally like our current system, because if people disagree with something, they can write a response why and that can also be judged on its merits like the first post. The thumbs up is a nice touch, but I’m more concerned with learning something new from eachother and sharing knowledge and all that, at least that transfers into real life, where +1 only counts for this site.
Either way, watch for trolls.
Feminism is a movement where opinions are presented as facts and emotions are presented as evidence.
The constant need for validation is for wimin and children. Unfortunately society has become a vast popularity contest, endless game shows like X factor and the voice, facebook whores who define their existence by how many likes they have, twitter addicts in need of their next re-tweet fix. It’s a little piece of celebrity we can all achieve, weapons of mass distraction like the conjurer misdirecting the crowd.
“Long is the way and hard, that out of Hell leads up to light.”
I liked the thumbs up only system. It’s my way of agreeing with a post without actually replying to each one that I agree with.
In the days that I have seen the thumbs down feature, I haven’t used it. If it remains I don’t plan on using it. If I disagree with a remark, I will post that I do and why I disagree.
Men have no problems with constructive criticism or healthy debate and part of Going Your Own Way is that not everybody will take the exact same path but will respect the paths that others have chosen.Feminism isn't about equality with men, it's about leverage over men.
I was wondering about the thumbs down button as well. It was here this morning. Being allowed to dislike someone’s post is just as good as being able to like it.
I swear I had more rep points than I had yesterday. And I’m not even among the mild radicals over here that would ‘easily p~~~ off women’.
I would support the down-vote button but only if there is some foolproof way to ensure it can’t be abused.
Just for the record, though, I do abuse the upvote button like crazy. I don’t know if its wrong somehow so I’d like some advice regarding that.
A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
