Yeah, that’s kind of old.

Heard somewhere that at one point the writer of this new Thor was actually trying to make the worst work possible, so the sales would drop, so they would change Thor back to the male gender. Don’t know if it is true or not.

Nevertheless, this might not even be needed. People are getting fed up with this bulls~~~ and the blowback, sooner or later, will be hard on women. Glad I was born male.

My apologies, didn’t realize that this was an older story, I just saw the Avengers Age of Ultron, so this had me like wtf.

It’s part of marvel’s strategy to appeal to SJW and fems. What annoys me is that they are incapable of comming up with a new powerfull female character so they just the the gender change. And to be honest it wouldn’t be so bad if they did it to let’s say spiderman or iron man as those are costume names , personas , not their true identity. But for thor that is his true name. She basically stole his name so now he is Thorr odinson. Which is pure bulls~~~.

Hope they revert it.

I remember back in the day, when they had the marvel vs dc series, wonder woman was able to wield the hammer of Thor but it was only temporary. Wonder sloot gave it back because she wasnt worthy and she knew it. How she managed to even pick it up is beyond me just more feminazi bs.

You want to know the irony of all this?

Alex Ross. The guy made “The Kingdom Come” series, where he painted comics with DC heroes in a realistic way, in a parallel, darker universe. The thing was so successful that the comics “Wizards” asked him to make the same “reading” with Marvel characters, with a design and a little back story. Guess what was his re-design of Thor? A female version of Thor. HOWEVER, and here is the kicker, on the back story he made for Thor, Loki actually framed Thor for some terrible crime, and Odin, AS PUNISHMENT, TURNS THOR INTO A WOMAN. And the stories were so cool, and darker, that THEY ACTUALLY MADE A SERIES ABOUT IT. The only problem was they didn’t hire Alex Ross to draw, which was a shame.

So you see, even when THERE IS POTENTIAL FOR SOMETHING feminists and SJW can SCREW THINGS UP. If they had taken the old Alex Ross storyline, as a form of nostalgia, the comic would be a HUGE SUCCESS. But you can trust women and SJW to do any RESEARCH, do you? Because they don’t care about comics, or ANYTHING. What they care is about BITCHING about whatever seems to be SUCCESSFUL.

Yeah, but they got John Paul Leon, who is also an excellent and underrated artist in his own right. I’ve said it before in previous threads, but I could go on about this topic for days if no one were to shut me up. The thing I worry about, though, is that post Secret Wars (big comic event happening right now), the Marvel universe will be restarted. My big worry is that they’re going to try to retroactively change female Thor into the only/main Thor.

I don’t mind them adding some more characters of different races or genders or whatever. I see that as making the world a little more reflective of our own. The problem I have is that it’s coming at the expense/abandonment of classic characters that have sustained companies for decades. What I’d rather see is something like Milestone did in the 90’s. For those of you unfamiliar, that was a company made of primarily black men, most pretty decently well-known in the comics and animation spheres, that decided, “Look, we want characters that are more representative of us as a race” and started their own company. Eventually, they DID sell out to DC since they couldn’t sustain the costs, but at least they DID something. Static Shock was one of the creations at Milestone and he had his own TV show for a couple of years that was quite successful. Yeah, it’s not much but if SJWs and feminists f~~~ing bothered to do something for themselves, they might have something more sufficient to show than Black Widow or a female Thor that basically does nothing but bash old Thor villains that for some reason have decided to become strawmen for feminist arguments.

This won’t go on long.  It was just revealed that SPOILER ALERT!!!!      The new Thor is Dr. Jane Foster who is dying of cancer.  Apparently transforming to Thor is making it worse.
