You’ve heard of the Komodo Dragon? That big ass lizard that gets up to ten feet long and 150 lbs. Well picture an industrial model that’s 25 feet long weighing 4300 lbs. That’s big enough to swallow German tourists whole. That’s Megalania.

Also Australia used to have giant arboreal crocodiles. Now normal crocodiles can be avoided by staying out of the water, but not these f~~~ers. Even climbing a tree wouldn’t save you. That’s what arboreal means: they’d climb right up after you.

What do I mean “used to”? Crocs in Australia climb trees today.
