Not because of bad films, politics or the price but because c~~~s always sit near me. When I pick a seat out I don’t expect a couple of t~~~s to pick the seats right in f~~~ing front of me in an empty cinema!!!!

So tomorrow I am going to have to move because two utter c~~~s have decided they want to sit in front of someone. I am tempted to just sit there kicking their chairs and maybe it will teach them to not be complete t~~~s

it is like when you go in a pub/somewhere to eat and the whole place is dead and some c~~~/c~~~s sit on the table next to you. Same for trains or buses or parking in a car park – everyone stacks up like retarded sheep

so watching Deadpool 2 again tomorrow I am going to spend half the film annoyed at these dickheads unless I move.

    F~~~ing hell

please – right on the cinema tomorrow and allow me an extra second to live so I can watch those f~~~s get obliterated

I have the same issue except it’s not gender specific these days, it seems that almost everyone attending movies, concerts, plays, etc have either forgotten, or never learned, basic common courtesy when attending a public event.

Watch the performance and interact with applause, or moving you butt outside in the event that you need to talk, answer your mobile device, or any activity that disturbs others who are trying to escape reality for just a few hours.

Granted that movies and concerts have become the cheaper alternative for childcare this century, and children and young adults CANNOT exist without their “two thumb” device of choice, this is just another reason to watch events from home.

sorry my c~~~s/t~~~s reference could be anyone – I have no idea who has booked up but they were the words that came out through that rant

and I agree with your post – people have no consideration for others these days. I could give numerous examples like on my train commute – people with knees in the back of your seat, playing music too loud, trying to push on trains first etc…it all f~~~s me off

The last movie I went to a theater to see was “The Dark Knight”. What was that, about 10 years ago? Two young girls sit right in front of me and my son and one of them kept lighting up her cell phone several times throughout the movie. Very damn distracting. It’s like the c~~~s do it on purpose.

I’ve spent a lot of money on my home theater and that’s where I watch all movies. It’s much more comfortable. My sound system is better than the one in the local theater. If I want a drink, or snack, or have to use the restroom, I can pause the movie. Sure my screen is way smaller than at the public theater. So what? It’s not worth it.

I’ll never go to a public theater again.

At least your last film was a good one.

I bet I’ve watched that Bluray disc nearly a hundred times. Just watched it recently as a matter of fact because I’ve been testing out a new subwoofer which is a very fine piece of audio equipment made by Polk. That thing has such a deep throw with an extremely rich sound. Expensive, but worth it. I’ll eventually buy another one, just because, two subs are better than one and I like to feel my house shake when it’s appropriate during the movie. I’ve never been able to experience that in the theater.

I love it when I get there early and get my seat. then a familiy of nitwits shows up during the previews and dumps two kids off in my row and they have to go sit elsewhere because the theater’s full. So now these kids need to constantly go back and forth to mommy and daddy to get popcorn and drink. Finally i told the kids this is your last trip past me, do what you need, get all the popcorn and drink that’ll get you thru the end of the movie go to the bathroom becasue the next time you pass me will be the last time. So get comfortable!

I used to like going to the movies.
But over time the snacks got to f~~~ing expensive and like you, I always managed to get the talkers or kickers sitting behind me.

The last movie I attended on ‘my dime’ was Watchmen. And yup, a couple of fatties sat behind me and could not keep their f~~~ing mouths shut.

I am not going to pay that kind of money for a s~~~ty experience. I don’t care how good the movies is.

I went to Deadpool at 8:30 this morning. There was maybe three of us in the theater. One guy was noisy before the movie got started but was soon drowned out. Being deaf has it’s advantages!

With the price of movie tickets these days, assembling your own theater system is cheaper…

I forgot the last movie I watched in a theater. The cellphones, chatting and distractions caused by unruly movie goers turned me off…Sure the screen is smaller in a home system but I at least could enjoy the movie uninterrupted…

Motherf~~~ers can’t leave their phones alone, its a global addiction. Same exact reason I do not go to theatres.

The big screen at a theater isn’t that big of a deal to me. At home, I’d like to have a larger screen and will probably get one if I ever need a new TV, but my 50″ is just fine for me. It has a great HD picture.

Besides, for me, 50% of the movie experience is the sound and I love my surround sound.

There’s a $3.00 theater within a 1/2 mile of work that I use to catch up on first run movies, usually only the 4:00pm showings however. It’s too early for the parents to drop their kids off to and most adults are still at work.

2D or 3D with a nice pizza and cold draft beer, yep, don’t mind working through lunch to have an early supper there.

Even if I’m not in a theater, I get sick of seeing phone addicts staring into their tiny screens. I haven’t owned a cell phone in many years and I’ll never own another one as long as I live.

I notice this when I go to the beach, and it’s not gender specific, and it’s happened since I was a kid. People are just dumb.

Last year I went solo to a quiet beach in NC in late August after school was back in session for the kids.

I’d get out early and place my umbrella and chair directly in front of the private boardwalk. It never failed that the dumb f~~~s staying in the houses on either side of me, would plop their asses down within 10 feet of me. When there was miles of open beach. God forbid the beached whales could walk an extra 50 steps.

I learned after the second day to just wait for the f~~~s to sit, then I’d walk 1/4 mile away and have enough space for myself.
