All of my life I have heard deadbeat this deadbeat that from black women about the fathers of their children also in my own family. Never one to believe what is told to me I started my own digging and analysis through life and have notice that “deadbeat” fathers are a myth,yeah we have men and women who dont want to deal with the responsibility of raising a child,but the ways it’s rehearsed in the black community you would think they are just as common as trash cans. Black women take their kids from the father and will tossed them to any man willing to accept another man’s progeny. This article is very common in the black community as well as the silly rants in the comments of the article. Why is he paying 15k a month to a women that has an established singing career,why did she take him to court to begin with”Ms Independent”,then they have the nerve to not let you see your own child like your only right is your right to pay!

It kind of puts things in perspective as to why so many black men are dating white women.

This is definitely 100% right on the mark. My dad is black, my mom is white. Pretty much every single one of the younger black women in my family had children out of wedlock. Most of those same women are on welfare, food stamps, and child support. There’s only a handful of black women in my family who are still married.

Hell, I don’t even know ANY of the fathers of my cousins on my dad’s side. It’s like they’re nonexistent.

I knew a long time ago even before I became MGTOW why black men preferred hispanic, asian, and white women. Compared to black women, they’re angels.

Who does? I don’t know a single successful black man who does. Or a single successful white man. Or asian. Or whatever. If one digs around in the history of the welfare state in the US, this is the pre-WW2 years when FDR was president, what will turn up is that some of the promoters of welfare knew they were destroying the family.

Regarding the ‘deadbeat’ concept, to me it’s one of those things that difficult to understand from the outside. I’ve seen it from many sides.

Growing up, I was a product of Dad’s 2nd marriage. I have 5 half brother’s and sisters that I pretty much know by name only. I got my Dad fulltime, while they pretty much never saw him as he was in Houston while they were LA.. Although my Dad did pay child support, he wasn’t there and was resented for that. I felt guilty about that sometimes.

I ended up marrying a single mom. My original outlook was to respect the boy’s biological Dad because he spent weekends with him and always paid on time. It was strange as my then wife didn’t share that outlook, at least at first. It was as if a part of her needed to make him out to be less then a good dad in order to justify never marrying him and such. I didn’t feel like he got fair treatment, although I could not understand why he wasn’t at all the boys baseball games, etc.

And of course, I’m now on the other side now since I am divorced with 2 biological kids. There is the natural resentment for having to pay child support with no say how it’s spent. There is resent towards my ex in general. There is the other man who gets to play father to your kids. There is resent sent your direction from the ex. I hate being used as a baby sitter. And when you aren’t there, it is difficult to be involved in everyday life. I couldn’t tell you what my kids last report card looked like. I understand the temptation to just walk away, or to play a lesser role. Being a father is a thankless job for the most part, it gets worse when you are resented for being a part of the parent equation. And my situation is one of the good ones.

And then if I were to get in a relationship again, I’m suppose to play Dad to someone else’s kids and/or take an even lesser role in my kids life?

I bet if you took a look at the story behind a deadbeat Dad, 95% if the time you’ll find a woman who killed his heart.
