I think it comes from women not quite understanding that cars don’t “behave”……. they are behaved UPON. I always hear women saying things like:

“My computer is acting up again.”.
“Computers do not behave, they are behaved UPON – by you.”.

“My car just rolled away!”.
“Cars do not behave, they are behaved UPON – by you.”.

“The gas cap was open.”.
“Gas caps do not open, they are opened – by you.”.

“My ex boyfriend was an asshole”.
“No. You were a bitch, and he DUMPED you.”.

It’s like women constantly think they are a victim of something they caused. It’s remarkable. THat’s why I don’t think it’s “funny” because that’s f~~~ing DANGEROUS. It’s like watching a toddler playing with a loaded gun. Horrifying.

The funny part was the other woman running around pointing at the car with no driver yelling “HELP!! WE NEED A MAN!!!”

Feminism only works because men enable this crap. If white knights weren’t around to selflessly insulate a woman from her ineptitude at their own and at other men’s expense, women would hide at home and it’d be near impossible to get them out. Which is what it was in the past, before their revisionist history claimed they were forced there. Nope, they were hiding there. At home they were safe, when they step out without men willing to bend over backwards they are like mindless toddlers.

This was the difference with men in the past, and sometimes you see it in really old TV shows. In many episodes of Twilight Zone for instance, there will be a woman having hysterics and men will just ignore her and not want to get involved. You don’t see that anymore, a man sees a woman and he instantly wants her to order him.

But this isn’t even a screw-up or a “mistake”. She is actually attempting to SOLVE A PROBLEM…. while creating an even bigger problem.

How is it possible to assess a situation like that??

“Oh darn. I left the gas cap open. That’s unsafe. I should close it.”

To solve that problem, put you hazards on, take the car out of gear, engage the emergency brake, get out and indicate to the driver behind that you need a second to adjust something. But she thinks “oh I’ll just pop out and close the gas cap”…. without assessing whether or not it’s even worth it. She would have been better off to keep driving. And so would everyone else.

Hurricanes are named after women for a reason.
