So I heard about the ‘manosphere’ from some cop show my aunt loves to watch so I decided to look for it. My intention was to join the forum as a fictional character to post in-character, troll and generally be obnoxious because I thought it would just be a bunch of assholes. (OMG when I did it to ED’s forum is was hilarious)

However the more I looked into this idea the more I liked it. A pretty simple idea from what I can gather. That is that a man does not need to be married or fall in love with a woman to live a complete, fulfilled life. That a marital relationship simply is not worth the emotional, financial and lifestyle change cost.

I’m inclined to agree. I mean who goes their own way more then a Brony? I’m already part of a group that basically said. “You know what? To hell with what society thinks I should do! I’m gonna just do what I want!”

It is a pretty simple concept… that a man’s life has value outside of what utility he can provide for women and children. It could only be considered a dangerously subversive idea by someone who is living as a parasite off the value produced by a man.
