There was a version of the “Mosquito” fighter-bomber from WW2 that had a 57mm cannon stuck in it. It was an enormously effective weapon when properly applied.

I love plane documentaries, thank you for that one. The A-10 is one of my favorites planes, a plane built around a gun.

If there is a documentary on TV (when I used to watch TV) about planes and jets, I’m glued.

I don’t even know why, I don’t seek out plane docs.
I think it stems from a childhood of wishing I was a bird, or could fly. I even tried making a hang glider from twigs and garbage bags once!
I used to wish I was a bird when stuck in a classroom in elementary school, I like wanted to take off Eh?

I think jet propulsion though, is going to be the new propeller in the near future.

You can't reason with unreasonable, there; women, figured out, there is nothing to reason.
