Agreed, however….they’re time-traveling superstars, so even if they happen to be “jobless” “””losers”””, they have that whole “I’m a time traveler” thing going for them.

What I’m concerned about is they’re probably going to have completely domesticated Bill & Ted. Remember that we left off at the end of Bogus Journey with them married, on stage, having learned how to actually play guitar, with kids slung on their backs.

I guarantee they won’t be globe-trotting rock star ubermenches. The Hive won’t allow that.

Prediction: they rocked it at the talent show, but then their new wives tied them down and forced them to grow up, get boring office jobs, and make ends meet. The movie will be a “hilarious” view at men having midlife crises and trying to reclaim their youthful hijinx. Lots of punches at “dumb” things men do.

I’m going to leave B&T at movie 2, which wrapped things up in a nice bow. They died, faced death, faced the afterlife, came back from the dead, and finally learned how to actually play the damn guitar, saved the day, got the girls, and won the show. End of arc.

Okay. I will admit the scenes in the second movie where they play the Reaper were comedic brilliance, but the rest of the movie was s~~~.
