This never made sense to me. Women want to be married, most of them. So why doesn’t she purpose to the man she wants to get married to? Why does it have to be the man who has to always purpose to her? She’s the one who wants to get married, and her wedding is all about her; she should be the one to do the purposing!

Marriage proposal being the man’s “duty” IS F~~~ING GENIUS! it’s the “safeguard” against women’s liberation and all the damage it has done!

It’s the one patriarchal thing our forefathers GOT RIGHT!

Women band together and treat men like s~~~, men stopped marrying them and the ones that didn’t WILL NEVER ASK AGAIN!

Hell on earth for a woman is the ABSENCE of MEN in their lives with no takers, not a single man wants them!

Their advances on me have been met with “no thanks” I’m not one of THOSE KIND OF MEN!

It’s like watching a disobedient spoiled little brat gash off their hand after calling you an idiot for warning them not to put their hand in a running lawn mower!

They don’t listen, they do only what pleases them for the time being…

Men who propose are fools and here’s my reason why:

Women want to get married because they don’t want to do all the hard work that ensures their survival. A woman needs an idiot who will serve as a workhorse that will bring her comfort and enjoyment for the rest of her life (or till the time she has her hook on a bigger wallet).

In a lighter tone: Women want to marry men so that they can be provided for.

I see this in the same light as a poor/unpirvileged person wanting a relationship or association with a rich person because of the benefits they will be getting from such relationship or association.

If a poor person wants financial assistance, they don’t sit back and expect rich people to come around and “compete” for who is going to provide such assistance by using diamond rings or similarly expensive items to beg for the poor person’s permission to be provided for.

Men have the resources that women want. Even if we pretend for a second that we live in a perfect world where marriage is a beautiful thing as they claim, it will still be very stupid for a man to propose beg a woman to come and benefit from all the wealth that HE has worked hard for.
It is the women who are supposed to be proposing to men for a chance at the men’s wealth and resources -not the other way round.
