The funniest part of this video was the alpha vs beta male discussion. Those two terms or nonsense, socially driven titles that contradict. They say alphas are usually surrounded by women. Yet you have to be beta in order to attract women to your resources. But once you’re surrounded by women, society encourages you to choose one to give your entire life to, hence becoming beta again. But everyone knows a woman will miss the man she once knew and desire for him to become alpha again. So essentially the logical argument is you have to be beta to be alpha only to become beta once again and then become an alpha to please her. This is nonsense.

I have discovered a truly remarkable list of reasons why women are not necessary for a happy life, but alas this margin is too small to contain it.

I never really noticed the Young Turks much before, but I really couldn’t get through that video.  That woman has a horribly shrill voice.  At least YouTube has a volume control and a pause button.

I’ve been trying to find information on the actual incident reported in the video, specifically whether there was any documented confirmation that there were reports of sexual harassment.  The video linked to a Raw Story article which said that they got their information from a radio station report based on what the victim’s cousin said.  But the link to that report was dead.  The other articles from actual newspapers say that the police aren’t saying what the motive is; or if they have, I’m not finding any real hard data to confirm this.

I consider myself an independent. I’m not pragmatic with my votes either, I vote for who I want to be in office, regardless of their ability to win. I’m pragmatic with everything else, but not my vote.

This is simply because if my ancestors were pragmatic they wouldn’t have sailed from England to get away from religious persecution, they would have just become Anglican, because that’s the pragmatic way, even if it has nothing to do with their beliefs.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s f~~~ the system, because the system wants to f~~~ you. Politics and marriage included.

If he was told to not do something, and continued and got fired for it, then what?  I see sexual harassment here resulting in him getting canned, not sexual assault.  They are different.

There was another article linked from that one which said “Where there are more guns, more women die.”  However, men still represent the vast majority of victims of gun violence.  Most of them don’t get national attention.
