Governments need money. The way they get that money is through Taxes. If they don’t have enough people or they don’t have enough people earning enough money to sustain current Government spending levels then the Government has to make cuts to its programs.
The immigrants coming in from the Middle East do not (for the most part) work. Instead they go on welfare and are a drain on the government’s resources.
If a government has an immigration policy that is very generous to unskilled workers from 3rd world countries then that government is going to start losing a lot of money particularly when its own population of highly skilled and educated workers don’t have enough children to replace them.
