Our world works in a very simple way.We have our basic reactions to our environment that comes from our DNA(instinct). This way of reacting lasts until we are able to remember our reactions into various situations and also the reactions of other in various-similar situations and be able to put our self in the position that they were. Our reaction and all reaction in the animal kingdom are based on the simplest way.

That is PLEASURE and PAIN.If something causes pleasure to me i do it.If something causes pain to me i avoid it

.Now here comes the majestic mind of anyone that is able to call himself a MGTOW .We gentlemen are able to make the LEAP,the leap that enables us to view the environment that we live from a GRAND point of view.We do that with our minds and by using the memory of our experiences and the experiences of people in our environment. We are able to balance the potential pain and pleasure from a situation before that even happens because we DO NOT FORGET.That is essential for making the choice that will maximize our pleasure and minimize our pain(if it happens to be). This is my discovery of how things go and it applies on all situations that we will ever encounter.

I will be happy to answer any questions that are raised and please ask as much as possible so i can improve my memory and in consequence my life.

That post is some hard reading. Still not sure exactly what you’re saying. I guess the takeaway is that you make a point of learning from experiences so as to make better decisions in the future?

The idea of maximizing pleasure and minimizing pain is pretty basic. It’s the implicit foundation of most human (and even animal) decision-making, right?

One crucial caveat to that, though. I believe that pleasure and pain are two sides of the same coin. You need to experience some pain in order to also experience maximum pleasure. If it’s all pleasure and no pain, over time the pleasure degenerates into mere “comfort”, the highs become less high and the (relative) lows become lower, until eventually pain reasserts itself.

That’s not to say that you seek out pain on purpose, in order to enable pleasure. You don’t intentionally burn yourself on the stove. What it means is that you push your boundaries and take risks, with the knowledge that not every initiative will work out. You get some pain, but you also enable greater pleasure. Overall, it’s the best way to go.

The comfort that most people thinkĀ  is due to lack of goals for the future. If you have any kind of goal that you want to achieve and gets you out of your way (causing some pain) will give you the feeling of not being comfortable.Example,if you want to get a muscular body you have to work our.Working out by definition is hard and causes an amount on pain but, it’s up to the one that is working out to decide if that pain it requires is lower that the pleasure that will be acquired from having a muscular body in the end.So the solution to ‘comfort’ is to always have a goal that will cause you more pleasure and by definition will require from you to get in some kind of pain in order to achieve it.
