Hey guys it’s my first time joining any kind of men’s movement type forum but I have a lot to say on the issue and after a quick skim through the forum I think for most guys here reality hasn’t set in and are here for some kind of escapism.
I noticed some people are just skimming my post and making assumptions. Even though I use the term PUA and ‘inner game’ a lot in this post in fact I am speaking out AGAINST the whole PUA movement and talking about my belief that showing value is the most powerful way to be successful with women. Although I do like some of the terms that the PUA movement uses I think PUA really is just a bunch of guys boasting about success with women and obsessing over women too much perhaps because they are lacking in other areas e.g. success in life.
I want to just lay out some of my beliefs regarding women. Before I start I just want to say that I am probably living in a part of the world which is less cultured than many so I will admit there are many places in the world where you can find a nice female but also many places where that is difficult.
Women are emotional thinkers, something which has been empirically proven through science. That’s why first impressions are so important. I am sure most of you are familiar with the term PUA and people that claim it’s possible to pickup women easily by being charming. When I was younger I used to believe in this stuff and try some of it out. I think PUA probably works better in the USA or any country where going clubbing is predominant (e.g. UK and others) but there are also a lot of countries and cultures where it is not such as where I am living. I believe cultures and countries with more trust, culture and social cohesion tend to be bigger on the clubbing scene. Clubs are great because everyone drinks and you get a chance to hit on a girl when some of her defenses are down. But the fact is if you are not bringing much ‘value’ or ‘inner game’ to the table then you will mostly just get one night stands or flings with girls until they move onto something better.
This is why a lot of people in the PUA movement have a very bitter view about women except for a minority of ‘very successful’ pickup artists that have good inner game/ value and would have done pretty well with women just by being confident.
I am going to explain in this post why I think that inner game/ showing value is the true path to great success with women. There are two halves to creating value, one is working on physical fitness and the other is financial success. Most men who are trying to improve value work fanatically on physical fitness since it takes a special kind of man to get financially successful. If you work hard on fitness you are going to do a lot better than a guy who doesn’t work out and will definitely have a lot of chances to sleep with reasonably attractive women and get with an above average partner. But it takes a lot of dedication to be in good shape.
I think it’s important to be in good shape but I believe that financial success is much more important for both dating women and life in general which brings me onto the crux of my post. In most countries and most cultures around the world women are attracted to financially successful men and as men get older financial success becomes much more important than looks as it becomes harder to stay in great shape and compete with younger guys as you get older. This is why it’s important to focus on getting financially successful and I don’t mean buying a house as that is usually just a bad investment unless you can comfortably afford it though that is another topic altogether.
The main ways to go are wearing nice clothes and driving a reasonable car, if you can acquire these two and have enough income to be better than average then you are going to do better than a guy who works out a lot but isn’t making money. You can bring a lot of value to the table and as long as you are in reasonable shape fitness wise and confident you can have a lot of opportunities.
I am sure a lot of people will not agree with this and it’s not the right option for everyone since by definition the majority of men can’t be the successful ones financially as it takes a certain personality. If you don’t like doing business or working hard then you are probably better off concentrating on staying in great shape and working on that aspect more. But for the people who are aiming down this route I can confidently say that a good income of at least $5-10k/ month will put you apart from the average and get you a reasonably hot girl with ease. If you can consistently earn more than $10k/ month you are going to be having more success with women than you could ever imagine.
There seems to be a common trend to ignore this aspect because people think it’s vain to believe in this premise. Well I will put it that in today’s world where women and men have the freedom to be as promiscuous as they like the result is a lot more competition for good looking women and it’s more important than it’s ever been for men to show value. There are enough horny fitness warrior men out there to keep the attractive women sexually satisfied that if you are not either in good shape or doing well financially you will not have many options.
A lot of men around the world work hard on physical fitness or earning money then claim their success with women is a result of their great personalities or charm. This is because modern culture and thinking is very egotistical, people care a lot about what others think of them and are very proud. There are a lot of men who claim to be great at picking up girls because they are somehow just really awesome, in reality they are just proving value in some way to the women they are with. There are also some men that will be honest with you and say work hard on fitness or making money, usually with a bias towards the area they focused on.
The truth is both fitness and money are more powerful than any charm bulls~~~. Having value is also a lot more important for long term relationships so you can have more meaningful relationships and you don’t need to deal with as much bulls~~~ because you have much more power in the relationship. If a woman is attracted to you then she will laugh at your jokes and carry on a conversion with you, if she isn’t then you are going to hit a wall and even though you may be able to pick her up with some ‘game’ at a club it’s not going to give you lasting attraction from women. Obviously I say this with the caveat that as long as you are confident and not a social retard then these rules apply. Hope this inspires some of the men here 🙂
