I just heard someone call the first ten years of marriage the “trial husband evaluation period.”

I thought this was a rather light way of putting it, considering the total destruction sought out by divorcing housewives. If both parties were wise to marriage being impermanent, and no legal entanglements or sexual fidelity were required, this could be a very healthy and light way of looking at it. Although, that’s what dating and courtship are for.

Comment was made when a guy’s wife just revealed to him after ten years of marriage that she has a pension at work.

Anything less than 10 years is considered a short marriage (at least in courts I was in), and after 10 years the possibility of paying alimony increased significantly. This why I paid only a small, lump sum, alimony to my ex. Had it been more than 10 year my lawyer said it would have been worse.

With that in mind this woman is serial divorcee and every 10 years she can and plans to rape a man’s wallet.
