Today is a difficult day at work. I manage two small departments and though they are all staffed by men, in a mostly male-centric area of the business, the overall stunning level of incompetence across all facets of the business is killing me.
In the past, I’ve done very well at my workplaces, mostly because I was able to either train up or drive those who worked for me and set them up to help advance our departments and make great strides.
In this role I am in, I receive conflicting information, fluctuating leadership and have two employees who are sorely incompetent beneath me. I have been working to hire a replacement for one, so I can let him go, but I keep receiving conflicting messages from my boss.
One moment it is fire him, hire a new guy. Next it is hold onto him and train him up alongside the new guy. Next it is fire them all and get a new team. Then it is well, use vendors to supplement and hold onto them.
I’m exhausted.
Overall, my point of this whole post is that as a manager, I am sorely surprised by both the overall lack of ability in today’s workforce and the overall lack of drive. No one wants to get ahead, wants to do the right thing, wants to fix things so they stop being bothered… it is all just status quo, don’t learn anything, don’t get ahead, don’t get anything done above and beyond…
And these are not young people. I understand it in my smart-phone focused 19 year old daughter, but not in mid-career professionals who want to make it to retirement.
UGH… just burnt out today and raving here, because I know as men, men who have drive and focus and a desire to succeed, you men understand the challenge in today’s workforce.
No longer can we walk away, we must run. Remove the motive power.
The modern day work place, and home lives can be very toxic environments that have all types of negative effects upon Men.
I think that it may just be a combination of a lot of different factors affecting Men. Some have given in all in the past just to get laid off or consistently looked over for promotion. Others have invested the nights, weekends, and holidays with little to no reward, and are just burnt out. Some may see advancing and working harder as just an eventually larger alimony payment. Others are “managing’ to live through a horrible home life, and may be drained from enduring that experience daily. Others have probably seen other “hard-Working” employees ground up by the corporate environment after investing much, and they don’t see the point to any of it etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.

Incompetence is a quarter of what’s killing this world. The other quarter is Corruption and the remainder half of it is feminism.
We can’t have good valuable employees who care about their work because those are all living under a bridge, in their car or have already committed suicide.
This society of theirs is running on fumes and the smallest spark can send the whole shebang up and in flames. They have alienated and killed Men of quality and honor in favor of Blue-Pill effeminate deluded cucks whose sun rises and sets in the pants of their feminist-C~~~ girlfriends.
What can you do about it but cover your own ass and guarantee your position won’t be pulled from underneath your feet because some bitch decided she wanted your job?
OH, and by the way, if you have the power to fire all these lazy c~~~~~~~~~s then do it and get a new team you can handpick yourself!
Hang in there, Gerald, don’t let yourself be pulled out of your livelihood by a bunch of lazy f~~~s.Don't let them Blame, Shame or Tame you!
Give 'em NOTHING, not even an answer!
#GenderSegragationNow!The kids now days have the right idea. They care at the same level as your leadership.
Leadership wants the cheapest imbecile possible that will do the job.
At my job I am the highest paid in my engineering department and leadership said there will never be another at my pay level.
So, every person knows that what they do matters not. They spend their time until an opening occurs elsewhere and that is what they all do.
Leadership has no loyalty and does not care about them and they have no loyalty and don’t care about the leaders.
It’s win – win.
They are a reflection of the leadership. They have never known what it is like to work for a true leader. They have never been inspired.
I led a group that succeeded beyond belief and it got dismantled. I told them that if they were still here in a year I’d be disappointed in them. The young men left for better positions. When we meet in the hallways they always tell me that they don’t understand why our group got dismantled. It’s all about control.

Anonymous3and have two employees who are sorely incompetent beneath me.
I really know that feel. It is goddamn hard to delegate tasks, when you need to watch their every move to not f~~~ s~~~ up.
I am a sort-of mini-boss, most experienced in the team, with the device we use, and 13 years in the topic of the project. The group leader is only expert in a very different topic, not much of the system we use, and asks a lot of so really stupid questions that I feel like questioning his leadership, and also the motivation, he is not even here in the city most of the time.
3 good employees, but:
-One smart guy went very sick and terminated his work contract,
-second smart guy is abroad on another project,
-third smart guy is new member of the team but has experience for a decade.-the fourth guy is knowing a totally different topic but not stupid, I had some hopes in him, but he decided to stay and work in his hometown, I guess due do girlfriend and family reasons, and not move here. He was also less motivated then necessary.
-There is another noob and messy guy who needs to be educated on stuff,
-and there is a guy who behaves all the time as if he is drunk: inaccurate and too much moves, not precise, not paying attention, making suddenly body moves and mistakes. Also knows a totally different topic than necessary here. Motivation is minimal. He only cares for arriving late and going home in the earliest time, or when something gets stuck for a while and we cannot proceed without figuring it out. He does not help then and excuses himself out.
The stuff we operate is worth $2.5Million at least. And one bad click on computer may really make s~~~ happen, stuff needs a week of repair.
So, right now it is me and one smart but new guy doing it all, others are just watching and (I hope) learning. (I am happy to at least no do it “almost alone” like in last months, without the good guys being here, and the unmotivated guys not helping much.)
And since stuff must be done, it is 8am to (most of the time) 20-21pm work, no hope for me taking any vacation days in the near future (or stuff may burn down), at least I am Mgtow and my private life is drinking beer or whiskey and sleeping, no drama bitch at home. Cuddle sex doll, wake up 6 am, shower, breakfast, jump on bicycle at 7:15, work 8-night, arrive back home between 21-22 pm. At least I have 1.5 hours of fresh air on the bike every day to not get mad.
And to add, the work-safety ( no experience on the topic) make “elephant out of a flea” about tiny nonsense stuff we usually don’t care. I feel like to wear those “Screw your lab safety, I want superpowers” T-shirts.
And to add,a big boss makes problems about communication stuff. We care a s~~~load much of the PR side effects. S~~~ happens a lot, but we as company have to sell the things as a total success story. (success finally usually happens, but goddamn hard to actually make it happen)
Remember this when investing to any stock of a company, all the published information goes through a PR team, who may hide bad stuff and color out the results as a lot better. No one wants to get ahead, wants to do the right thing, wants to fix things so they stop being bothered… it is all just status quo, don’t learn anything, don’t get ahead, don’t get anything done above and beyond…
This is what I see in some people too. They do not understand, that they need to get things done and do their best in order to get paid. They take salary for a granted fixed sum every month whatever they do. And try to make sure that their under-performance is not seen by the bigger leadership.
And to add on top of this, a lot of “lack of communication” within the different groups. there is a small problem I asked for a solution from the responsible workshop people months ago, they asked the buyer group for the new parts (I don’t know when), stuff is (probably) ordered but no one knows where it is, maybe it is in the storage on some hidden shelf. (or they found the older order data of the old part, I cannot follow.) And I need to investigate because that small problem is getting worse and making side effects by now. There are many stupid things like that happening I guess in many bigger companies above a couple hundred or thousand people and tons of different projects ongoing simultaneously. Some people simply cannot work enough and cannot see through and investigate things enough in 12 hours a day. Some people simply don’t care and go home and more work for the people who try to get things done. And worse, not much possibility to make them more motivated somehow.
( /rant off)
So we on this site really like men’s productivity, but it may not be true for all men.
Anonymous3I’m exhausted.
Yes I know that well, too. A lot of coffee or some caffeine pills during the day, and some booze at night, and collecting money for “shopping list” of my life is what keps me going.( in example, apartments are expensive and I want no mortgage and more risks related to it.) most of vacation days get stuck in and can only be taken in Xmas time when nothing happens at all anyway. At least on paper the days are given out, but in fact I was still working at circa 1/3 intensity from home-office during my last vacation, to finish stuff that needed to be done.
And I cannot get, how the hell can the others get by with life, being under-motivated, not doing stuff, and having girlfriend or family and all sorts of private life. I had no any private life in last months except logging in here in the forum late night or early morning for some hours. I like to be here. Weekends go by washing clothes and cleaning up and more sleeping, maybe work that could’t be done during the week. hobby projects would need more time. I was contracted to work for 8 hours on average (flexible work hours), but in this country, that always means, they expect people to work the most possible time they can. Yes, and as the miniboss of the group, I have the responsibility to get stuff done, I get scolded when things don’t go well, and I get minimum help many time. So if no one does something then I have to do it myself. Yes then I get scolded that I don’t delegate more tasks to the f~~~wits. F~~~ I just don’t want them to f~~~ it up even more. I figured out, that the most productive way is when a few of us is there, and I tell them every minute what next small step to do, they can be helping hands but I need to always remind them to be more careful and think twice. They do not see the whole thing and decide and plan what task and how to do, and they don’t care.
It’s no different than it has always been I suspect. The average person just puts in their time and does the least amount they can do to get paid. It’s always been small minority an outlier that excels. Also you have to ask yourself if there really is incentive for people to work their ass off anymore. What do they really get out of it in the end?
Be professional be polite but always have a plan to kill everyone you meet.
Also you have to ask yourself if there really is incentive for people to work their ass off anymore. What do they really get out of it in the end?
Because a f~~~ing paycheck isn’t enough?! What more could they possibly want after the government forces the employer to pay a large part of the employees’ medical bills?

A job is a privilege and for that privilege you are paid appropriately… but today people don’t see that as they can go home, lay on their ass and get paid.
The paycheck is proof enough to me, but in today’s world where everyone has ‘feels’ we have to do so much more it is pathetic. Today is another frustrating day, am p~~~ed again.
