That is nothing new. It happens all the time. That is why I am skeptic of EVERYTHING.

Besides, if this is what leaked, you can be sure that the real situaition is much MUCH worse. But try telling this to anyone that buys into that narrative. “Oh, you are just a conspiracy theorist.” It is like this with ANY ideology, progressive or not.

Besides, if being critical of the news I recive REGARDLESS of the source, and trying to be mindfull of the FACTS and not ASSERTIONS and/or EMOTIONS is being a conspiracy theorist, then yes., yes I am.

Better than being a sheep.

Well, I read through the document. It contains both reasonable and less-than-reasonable parts; it doesn’t come off quite as idiotic as they make it sound in the article, but it definitely qualifies as pc. Paradoxically, the document explicitly states to avoid “classifying” (i.e., to pigeonhole) people…even as it contains very strict rules and guidelines for how to classify people in the context of journalistic language.

Interestingly, the phrase “Language is power. Language is politics. Language sets the standard” mentioned in the article doesn’t actually exist in the linked document (I read it through several times to make sure). I then read through the linked Swedish article, which states that Annika Lagercrantz spoke those words at one point, but not in the document, nor necessarily in regards to it, either (the article doesn’t mention in what context she said it – fairly typical journalism, regardless of country or bias). In fact, the Swedish article takes a lot of liberties when it comes to interpreting the document, some of them reasonable in context, others far less so. You know how absence of evidence doesn’t constitute evidence of absence? Yeah, that kind of thing. The Swedish article comes off equally as biased as the document, only in the other direction. Sad.

Also interestingly, the document uses p~~~-poor Swedish. Alas, fairly typical of modern Swedish journalism… I’ve talked to several older (often former) journalists in the past, and they’ve frequently made mention of how they hate not only the modern pc language but also how the quality of language itself has dropped. In other words, not surprising in the least.
