Sparkling White Whale

I never posted this observation made a week ago because I didn’t know if it fit this topic heading. Looking back over the three paragraphs, they might have some minor sociological connection with older women, as individuals or as a group, who begin to seek out stimulation and entertainement. So, for whatever it’s worth .. here’s what I observed on a cold breezy day about one week ago.
Running errands today, I’m sitting in my vehicle at the far end of a parking lot of a large chain store enjoying my bag lunch and I see an interesting sight. A number of people, mostly older women, begin to park their cars at the other end of the lot and get out of their vehicles. Most of the women appear to be over the age of sixty five and some noticeably older. The are just two or three older guys in the group and maybe two or three middle aged folks. The twenty or more people all stand in the parking lot in an informal line and seem to be waiting for something.
Twelve noon arrives and I see a large white bus cross the nearby intersection and turn into the parking area. It’s a sparkling tour style bus; you know the kind, an enormous white whale with the dark glass and the cool row of mini-headlights. It had writing on it but it wasn’t until everyone was aboard and the bus began to slowly maneuver out of the parking lot .. I saw the word casino on the side.
Enjoying a day or a weekend at the casino might be great fun and being judgmental about how people spend is certainly not what I’m dwelling on. Casinos have great food at very decent prices and two of my closest relatives live and work in Las Vegas. It’s just that I can’t stop thinking about the fact that there will be many unique business opportunities for creative individuals as more and more people seek out entertainment services and ways to fight boredom in the years to come.

Because a guy is ghow, it certainly shouldn’t preclude blue-skying future business opportunities with money to be made .. even if it involves women as the most likely customers. The white whale ‘red carpet’ casino bus is just a metaphor for the potential of earnings in service and entertainment yet to be tapped over future decades. I’m observing that there will be lots of business opportunities in future as the older lonely gals leave their cats for a day and venture out searching for boredom relief. Unfortunately, many of the foreseeable future opportunities in this country appear to be service related; let’s also include niche entertainment and there’s unlimited opportunity as those with dollars in hand seek diversion from their self-induced boring lives. Exactly how to tap that market is the trick as casinos are already doing it with white glove chauffeured destination service. Based on the relative size of the group that showed up on that cold windy day in this small park ing lot, it appears to be working.
Casinos are not the future wrt growth; yet there will be many new unique and profitable opportunities.
… There’s money to be made filling voids.
During the past few years I’ve happened to meet a couple of people making a good income co-owning a business that provides entertainment for corporate functions as well as frivolous high-end weddings .. usually always arranged by women.
So, if customers end up being women who spend lavishly .. it’s ‘just business’ .. ironically, providing more financial resources for you to live exactly where and how you desire as you chose your own unique path and gyow .. yes, even providing for that eventual cabin in the woods 🙂

If someone could develop a way to quikly,painlessly remove tatoos with out leaving a scar,there is a future potential market when tatood skank will want to remove them when they get older. Capitalism is about discovering new potential markets. Keep thinking Home School!….Heers one…Mgtow cat food!!

lol you guys crack me up. I wonder what the actual statistics are on old cat ladies getting eaten by their pets after they die. I don’t think I even want to go look into this one…
