Finished my first day at my second job to afford this separation and start slaying debt, and though I am beaten up, sore and exhausted, am sitting on my patio, whiskey and 7up over ice by my side, enjoying the quiet. I am in the city so it isn’t completely silent, but with the 90+ temps, not too many hanging outside, just me. I have shade, a light breeze, and no nagging self absorbed meat hole bothering me… If the chair were more comfortable I’d probably take a nap.

Do what makes you happy men, love your life.

No longer can we walk away, we must run. Remove the motive power.

This is why motorcycling should be a solitary experience. Sure ride with other men on their own bikes but never have any kind of intercom.
Very few men and certainly no women, understand the virtue of silence.

I grew up in a very small town. Sometimes I tell people if they ever go there and want to sound like a native, then order a “15” when you go in the bar. When they ask me what a 15 is, I just say “It’s a 7 and 7”. Seagram’s 7 whiskey and 7-Up if you’ve never heard of it.

Enjoy your 15 sir! I’ll be joining you later.

    Order the good wine

I love the sounds of silence being interrupted by the thunderclouds rolling in. Sweet serenity. Or, a quiet drive with my music blasting on the sound system. No demands, no complaining, no snowflake trying to give me directions off google maps. Ahhh, peace at last. Like a slave who’s just been emancipated. The world is my oyster, and as long as I stay away from those stinky clams I can finally enjoy myself.

"Don't follow in my footsteps...I stepped in something."
