The fact that you remain in an environment where something “annoys the f~~~ out of you” indicates that YOU are not in control of your own life and have some growing up to do.

If you’re “annoyed as f~~~”, point it out. If she (or anyone else, for that matter) doesn’t adjust or correct and you’re still in the picture, then YOU’RE the one with the problem. If you don’t want ownership of the annoyance, ghost them and move on with your head held high.

Life is too damned short for the alternative.

That’s a good point. But unfortunately unless you go full monk, you have to deal with their crap on some level every day.
