I met Lawrence in Boston actually.
As hilarious and to the point in person as he is in his book.
both of my copies, including the autographed one, have disappeared.

Thanks for posting it! I read the whole book. Quite good material.

All my life I've had doubts about who I am, where I belonged. Now I'm like the arrow that springs from the bow. No hesitation, no doubts. The path is clear. And what are you? Alive. Funny story.

I was reading “The Predatory Female” on the bus today and was laughing at a funny thing in the book and a nearby woman then spoke to me.

Woman: “Good book?”
Me: “He writes some funny things”
W: “What’s the name of the book?”
Me (apprehensive): “Ummm…”
W: “Or should I not ask?”
I showed her the book cover and read to her the part of the book I was laughing at:’Guys are disappearing, mysteriously, from the country with their retirement monies which they have “stolen” ‘, saying how it’s funny that when fathers leave the country to avoid playing alimony, etc. they are referenced as “stealing” their own money. I don’t think she was too impressed, but she was reserved, saying that while marriage has some frustrating parts, it has other parts that make it all worth it. I asked if she was married and she said she is and has been for 22 years and credits that to both her husband and her being Christians and that the Bible gives a roadmap of how to live a married life. That’s to her credit but I saw that she had a shortish, somewhat boyish haircut and realised that on that single point alone, if I were her husband, I reckon I’d be wishing I’d stayed single.
