I have no doubt that Hilary supporters will be pointing out that Clinton won the popular vote. This is irrelevant on 2 accounts. The first is obvious. The electoral vote is what gets you the presidency, not popular vote.

The 2nd reason has to do with the typical response, that the popular vote should be what decides the presidency. The problem with this is that the candidates and voters know this and plan their actions with this knowledge. Therefore, the popular vote would be different if the popular vote actually mattered.

Say the next election is switched over to popular vote. Let’s just look at one state, Texas where I live. Because the states consistently goes Republican, candidates don’t pay much attention to it, and voters do not feel like their vote matters much. However, in a popular election, that changes drastically. The state population is 27 million, and only 10 million voted. That means that there are a ton of people who didn’t vote because they didn’t think it mattered. If another 10 million voted, that completely changes the outcome of a popular election. Voters would know this, and candidates would put more effort into getting Texas votes…because it now matters.

It’s the same as saying that your football team got a moral victory for getting more offensive yards, even though they lost on the scoreboard.

You can make your argument that popular vote should be how we elect, but you can’t argue for one candidate over another based on the popular vote.

    Ok. Then do it.

The election of a president is outlined in the Constitution, as well as the procedures for changing the Constitution.

I welcome them to give it a try changing it.

Besides the popular vs the electoral vote totals, I also find it entertaining when the entire state aside from a half dozen counties vote one way but the state is called the other way. Like Washington State for example, almost the entire state votes Red but the state is called BLue because the i5 corridor counties voted blue. LoL… it’s stupid to me anyway. I get it, why it happens, i don’t need it explained to me. It just looks corrupt on paper is all i guess i’m saying.

I would allocate electoral votes by Congressional district, instead of the “winner-take-all” arrangement. That is how it is done in Maine and Nebraska. Trump got one of Maine’s votes, while Hillary got one of Nebraska’s.

I wouldn’t be for changing to popular vote as I think there still needs to be an emphasis on states rights. Yes, population matters, but I still think the states need to be thought of as independent entities, even in federal concerns.

And yes, the political maps are interesting. It’s clear that demographics has a distinct impact on politics. Knowing that should make a person attempt to try and viewing things from a different angle, or at least admit that their point of view is less about truth and more about the environment you live in.

    Ok. Then do it.

How much of Hillary’s “Popular Votes” are a result of Voter Fraud?.

Double voting (ballot stuffing): One individual casts more than one ballot in the same election.

Dead voters: The name of a deceased person remains on a state’s official list of registered voters and a living person fraudulently casts a ballot in that name.

Felon voter fraud: The casting of a ballot by a convicted felon who is not eligible to vote as a result of being a felon.

Voter suppression: A variety of tactics aimed at lowering or suppressing the number of voters who might otherwise vote in a particular election.

Registration fraud: Filling out and submitting a voter registration card for a fictional person, or filling out a voter registration card with the name of a real person, but without that person’s consent, and forging his or her signature on the card.
Voter impersonation: A person claims to be someone else when casting a vote.

Vote-buying: Agreements between voters and others to buy and sell votes, such as a candidate paying voters to vote for him or her.

Fraud by election officials: Manipulation of ballots by officials administering the election, such as tossing out ballots or casting ballots in voters’ names.

Also, check out the Feminists stuffing the Ballot Boxes:

And Smartmatic manufactures the voting machines that may have been used.

The Chairman of Smartmatic, Mark Malloch-Brown, is on the board of George Soros’ Open Society Foundation.

Yes, George Soros, the billionaire CROOK who is one of Hillary’s biggest donors.

George Soros also funds the “Black LIES Matter” thugs.
