Exactly!! in trying to save money the healthcare system does everything possible to save money by denying or delaying as long as possible procedures and/or treatments that might save lives. This is nothing more than a good example of Socialist healthcare. Because of the UK NHS trying to save money this woman has been damaged. Instead of doing the right thing in the first place this whole fiasco has cost them an additional $2.7 million that could have been used to help a lot of people. I firmly believe there are death panels in the UK that determines who gets what kind of healthcare. For example, someone who is eighty years old and has something similar would be given pain meds and allowed to die.
