There are claims that women tend to be charged more than men for products marketed to women “just because they are women! Bru-Ha-ha!!!”. Their arguments would need to be backed up with evidence that there is market manipulation to unfairly target women rather than a result of womens demands on the free market “cos they can!”. But they don’t back it up at all.
This article above does argue that womens demands drive up the price of womens products and also backs it up with facts.

Supply and demand 101. If people want to buy a product and that product is in demand, it’s going to sell at a premium. Just because the product in demand is being sought after mostly by women, doesn’t mean that it’s a mark up or tax on women.

Women are also more apt to buy s~~~ that they don’t need with money that they don’t have which tends to drive up the price as well. You can’t tell women that because….vagina.

Men are more practical. A good shirt or pants can last a man 10 years, yet many woman won’t be seen dead in ‘last season’ fashion. Most men are in and out of a barbers in under 30 minutes while women sit in the hair salon chair for hours and then bitch and moan that their ‘haircuts’ are dearer. These are the choices you make ladeeezz don’t blame men for your poor financial management.

Woman have far, far more “needs” than men. Any woman will readily admit this.

A man needs very little to get by. When I leave my house I only need two items: my car keys, and my wallet.

A women needs a “purse”…which is a fancy bag (it HAS to be fancy) filled to the brim with useless s~~~. That useless s~~~ costs money ladies. Since you are dumb enough to waste resources on that useless s~~~, companies will exploit that for a profit. Where it really show up is in shoes. I am good with one or two pairs of comfortable shoes that I will wear with everything. A woman wants 15 pairs of uncomfortable shoes just for a single sun dress.
