What to know what is fool’s gold for cities? It is professional sports teams. In the name of prestige, they will go off and try to outbid other teams to have professional teams in their cities. Owners bid like crazy to own them also. Professional sports plays up the religious devotion side in people, and feeds that, so there is use for it.

The NFL isn’t done. Maybe individuals may say it is done, but most people it isn’t. Most people don’t give a damn. My take is, once this sinks in, you do your own thing regardless of what others do.

I haven’t watched a game since 96. If it doesn’t help me make money, expand my mind, or furthers me in any way, I don’t bother watching it. A bunch of dudes that can’t read ramming each other head first for years on end doesn’t excite me. Just something a bit suspicious with the fans, grown men wearing another man’s name on their backs.

What does entertain me is knowing after the glitz and glamor they’ll be forgotten, their trophy THOTs will divorce rape them, and they’ll be an “assistant” coach for a Pee Wee Football League telling Future Thugs of America “Dun dew Dwugs”.

I never got into watching much sports at all, rather i enjoyed doing them.

If sports actually had a meaningful purpose it would be different.

Like, if the mayor of the losing city’s team gets publicly beheaded. Or heck even the entire city council.

Or whichever citys team loses, they have to take in 1000 homeless people from the winning teams city.

Or the losing city has to give over a square mile of the best real estate of their city to the winning team.

If it really meant something, with real world consequences, it would be important. It is meaningless.
