If I do watch the NFL these days, it is only background noise while I do something else.

There are too many commercials, you can’t follow the game. Injury, let’s have more commercials. Change of possession, let’s see how many Peyton Manning commercials we can fit in a minute. Announcer has to go drop a deuce, let roll some warm and fuzzy psa about how the game isn’t killing it’s players and you should let your kids play so there will be more players in the pipeline to feed the money machine in 10 years.

Just watched line my son’s JV team tonight. Neither team had any pink.
Really, sports are for kids. The joy of winning with your friends for your school while your family watches.
Pro sports in general I don’t like – millionaire narcissists.

Agreed. As I age and the testosterone fades and wisdom rises I have watched less and less. The few games I have been to in the last decade I have not stood for the National Anthem, in personal protest of nonstop bulls~~~ wars. Most times I am the only guy I can see who stays seated. Nobody has ever given me s~~~ as I am sure most people are smart enough by now to get it but just go along with all the other Sheeple out of fear. That or they may figure I am a Vet who went through some s~~~ and am over it, this wouldn’t be surprising considering how well known it is by now how the VA treats it’s Veterans.

I also never stand for God Bless America either as I am an Atheist, no offence to any of my religious brothers here (of any religion), but if you were pressured to stand for a song about there being no God, I am sure you would do the same.

I never really cared much for ballgame sports anyway, so it doesn’t bother me. What bothers me and I’m sure it bothers a lot of people in this country and that is not standing for the national anthem that Colin Kapernick guy felt he just had to do, along with blacks holding their fists in the air. You know, people are seeing that, and thinking “what a minute, I’m watching a ballgame and instead I’m watching some asshole guy protesting against my country? I don’t like this at all.”

This is what I don’t like about these unpatriotic people protesting against the anthem saying that America was never great, and that is these same hateful people are with multi-million dollar contracts playing pro ball and getting famous. It p~~~es me off that the people who hate this country are the same people who do very well off the system.

Seriously I hope the NFL fires Colin Kapernick for protesting on everyone else’s time. Just because you have a right to protest, doesn’t mean you have to. Do it on your own time, not in front of an audience, because people are not liking a guy, living the American dream, deaminizing their country at a ballgame.
