Now I am writing this on a Dick Tracy / star trek type cell phone.

When I was young there was no cloud or internet or mgtow. Feminism was a bunch of butch girls wanting to kill men.

This is pretty easy, and it will be technology affecting society.

Humans have already decoded the human genome. They can identify and read specific genes. They can see exactly where spelling mistakes occur that cause diseases. And they already have machines that can sequentially construct proteins from genetic code.

We will soon be able to put our own DNA on to a zip drive (thumb drive), download and upload it to the internet and our own computer. And it is only a short step from there to reconstructing a human identical to ourselves, with all the necessary genetic corrections, using Stem Cells. In essence, you will be able to live forever.

You think I’m crazy. I’m a bit too old to see it in my life time but it will happen within the next 15 years. I’m not guessing this is going to happen, I am guaranteeing it.

The next step is robots. And after a bloody revolution, if the oligarchs are swept aside, it will be no work for most but a system of communism where resources are shared.

There also will likely be a new method of power distribution and waste disposal, such that more land can be settled and cities rolled out. Right now most people live on top of each other in big cities, while vast areas of land are just empty because connecting resources is so expensive.

When I was 16-18 I was in a school for teachers in Italy, 85% females, they had not even an hint of what was “feminism” and they were enjoying the great novelty of sexual freedom.

Technology/society: robotization, ending most jobs as we know. First to go will be supermarket cashiers (mostly females) then city bus drivers (mostly males) – I don’t even think about automation in factories: factories will be more and more in China and India.
Society: a split between a part of society that will be back to traditional families settling on a fixed location/city, perhaps incorporating some muslim traditions about marriage, and another part of society that will be single people prevalently nomad, following the best job opportunities, and having sex mostly by artificial meanings and not with other people. I guess a certain sex is a little more suited for one of those lifestyle, and the other sex is a little more suited for the other lifestyle, but I don’t think there will be enormous differences. A genius who’s one of the leaders of Google said the next big thing in our history will be the technological singularity. That’s when we create true artificial intelligence where a computer can exceed human limitations in thought, knowledge and understanding.

I seem to recall his prediction for when that will happen to be about 60 years from now at the current rate of development. He believes that it will be treated like a god by society to decide what’s best for humanity because people already rely on the internet for making decisions like what to buy and do with your time, among other things.

We’ll probably be dead before any of this happens, if it does.

I agree with that, but it isn’t going to happen within the next 20 years, it’ll took more, at least twice.

Guys, communism and socialism can’t hold their own weight. You probably don’t see it in your countries, because you still have wealth to spend.

Do you know why communism in Poland failed? It was not because of a revolution and “Solidarność”. The communist government simply went bankrupt and it even organized a referendum to ask our people about making a reform to transition from this system. People refused, they voted against the reform. But system couldn’t hold it’s own weight and needed the change, thus the agents set up “Solidarność” with Lech Wałęsa in a leading role (2nd movement with the same name as 1st). This second movement was made up almost entirely of agents. They transitioned the rule to their own agents and made people believe it was a revolution.

Communism/socialism lasts only as long as wealth accumulated in period preceeding it.

I wouldn’t say it will be robots, but automation. We see bits and pieces, from Amazon’s Echo to Coke’s automated soda machines. We have talked before about how cashier’s are going to be replaced by machines. This is going to kill a lot of jobs, but it will also create new ones to design and maintain all the machines.

I don’t think the growing wealth gap is really a product of changing technology, but in how the government operates. We have always had changing technology and the workforce adapts with it.

Socially, it’s hard to say. I would guess that there will be fewer and fewer marriages, and men will avoid being a father with fewer and fewer exceptions. Trust will keep eroding to the point where will start seeing some out of the box agreements being made, but I don’t see women going back to traditional. They will still want all the benefits, but continue to accept the downside since they don’t have to. Even though MGTOW will grow, I don’t think we’re very close to an actual change in women’s behavior. We would need laws, and women will opt to give themselves more freebies then to actually fix the problem that’s making them miserable.
