The newest Jarad's Jewelers commercial: I dare you..

While watching a football game this weekend the latest Jarad Jewelers ad came on. It featured three scenarios: Dare to ask him; Dare to commit; and Dare to try again. In the first part the woman got down on one knee and asked the guy to marry him, the second was the traditional man asking the woman, and the third feature guy asking single mom.

So this is what marriage is reduced to: a “double dog dare”. I have to admit, I laughed my ass off when I saw this commercial. Good luck Jarad, you’re gonna need it. Even a double dog dare won’t shame me into that one again.

That’s what I never understood about “precious metals”, or “precious stones”. The only value they have is what an individual places on them. Gold has a value being used as a very good conductor of electricity, but form it into a damn ring and it becomes worth way more.
