It’s funny how a lot of people say that they are open minded, and when I get into topics and the person doesn’t like my view point, he/her thinks I’m being stupid or thinks I’m being negative even If I talk about a problem and a solution to said problem I get told to “you need to open your mind” translation why won’t you change your stance even after I mentioned about mine is what sounds like when I get into topics about the world with women, well my mom.

And then she has the nerve to tell me after that argument that If you don’t change your attitude you won’t find a women in your life since you said you won’t be having a family when you leave, and that you will go crazy being alone. Well living alone sounds like a better idea then getting the life sucked out of you by a parasite called a “women”

The point is, If you want to reach a conclusion you got to sometimes close your mind to other possibilities to reach to said conclusion, or to make ends meet with a task. Took me a while to figure that out.

Not really an answer or question. Just a observation with both a answer and question.

Actions have consequences and consequences have prices. Cause and effect at work.

Yeah, “open-mindedness” and “non-judgmentalism” (THAT’s one thing that irks me) are both technically impossible and very illogical, as it’s all opinion based.  Everyone is “closed-minded” to one ideology or opinion, and everyone judges to some extent or another.  I notice women tend to be more of the “I’m very open-minded” or “I don’t judge ever” types, because it makes them more emotionally “at peace” or whatever.  They can disregard facts on anything (like your situation with your mom, refusing to hear WHY you would rather be alone) as long as it’s to better them or elevate them somehow.  You not having kids or a wife will supposedly “make her look bad” in her opinion.  I can actually completely relate to that 100%.

The best way I’ve found to learn is to find people I disagree with and ask them why. Most of the time my views remain the same. But sometimes they change.
