The movie Moon can be seen as an analogy to MGTOW. In the movie, astronaut Sam is tricked into working in an everlasting moon mining base for the US government using clones of Sam when the previous clone dies. He is tricked into being obedient by pictures and videos of his beautiful wife and baby daughter, and a false hope of seeing them again when he returns to earth. These videos trigger his irrational mind and prevents him from thinking logically. When he finally realizes the truth (aka takes the red pill) he begins on a mission to free himself from the slavery.

This is similar to how marriage and kids enslave men in the real world. The government favors families by giving them tax credits. The government owned mainstream media shames single men because they are not slaves to the system. When Sam discovers the truth in the movie, he is no longer fooled by love, and starts to think logically, and frees himself from the moon mining base. At the end of the movie, the media from earth describes Sam as “”either a wacko, or an illegal immigrant. “”

Fellow MGTOWs, never ever get married. Don’t have kids (remember that babies grow up to be teenagers and adults). Enjoy your FREEDOM. Fight for your FREEDOM not through war, but through MGTOW.

All the more interesting MgtowUnited, that you bring up this movie. Yes, I’ve heard of it saw previews of it wanted to watch it but unfortunately missed it when it came out in the cinema, but I still want to watch it even more so now. Thanks for the hint, man.

I'd rather die a natual death with a clear MGTOW conscience somewhere off the grid than one within "modern" civilisation with a big stress mark on my forehead and a couple of dozen tubes plugged into my body. Back to the plantation..? Me..? Hey, literally: I won't ever fucking kid myself...YZERLMNTSIC

I watched the movie, and that is exactly like what MgtowUnited said.

The clone is thinking about his wife and kids everyday, keep trying to think that after this job done, they will meet with his daughter again, which i think it is similar to a divorced man that have to work to pay alymony so he can meet with his daughter again.

wow, I never thought about the comparison to divorce and alimony. Great point KLAUS W.
I imagine most kids who have divorced parents and live with the mother and they will eventually learn to hate their fathers. It’s like the saying monkey see, monkey do………..Such a tragedy for the father.

MGTOW is not a movement, it is a way of life.

They are innocent and the children’s mind is still simple.

If they cannot see the father for a long time, they will think that their father hate them because the father never want to see them anymore.

Not to mention that, if that happen, the mother will brainwashed the kids about their father bad things so that leave a bad image for the kids and the kids will fight for their mom and became her loyal subject.

I’m not a us citizen, but, if the father of divorced couple are not or can not paying alimony, than, there is no chance of the father to see his kids, right?

“Moon” is now on my must watch list, thanks to you guys.

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?

When I watched Moon years ago, I did not see any relation to MGTOW because I was not a MGTOW. Now, I see the analogy and its incredible. There’s a small chance the writer of the movie is MGTOW.

MGTOW is not a movement, it is a way of life.

    It’s amazing, I just watched it … … finally.

When the two clones meet and clash is a good analogy for when your blue and red pill selves coexist for a while. Eventually one will get sick and die just like in the movie. I don’t think it’s a good thing to hate your old blue pill self. It will eventually go away peacefully although it’s a painful process at times.

One of my favorite movies. Rockwell is great in just about everything he does.

It is a good movie. Too bad about the spoiler here but yeah, if you haven’t seen it, check it out, lots of good points about male disposability and how men are complicit in their own enslavement by basing our self worth on our relationships with others rather than on personal fulfillment.

Having watched it like a year ago, it now has a totally different meaning than it did before.

No longer can we walk away, we must run. Remove the motive power.
