I think the hermit lifestyle is great. I benefit alot frm it and I would like to here someone else thoughts of it. “In solitude the mind gains strength and learns to lean upon itself.” -Laurence Sterne

Anonymous0Both posts are advertising his various sites BUT says very little in the way of an introduction. Hmmm??
Yes I agree M52. Let’s see what gives in that respect.
As said now by two of us on both your threads.
It’s gonna get busy round here later and many more members are gonna ask for the same.
Good idea to get it done by then.
Just some friendly advice. The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape, finding oneself in the ranks of the insane. Marcus Aurelius

Anyways…They call us Introverts now.
I like, need Solitude. It has nothing to do with Mgtow either way.
There are plenty of Extroverts on here.
Attention whores as well.
Place any label you like on me if that is what makes one feel better about themselves.
It’s all good, and it doesn’t bother me in the least.
I know who and what I am, and I am quiet content in my life, without outside influences, thank you very much.
I enjoy my solitude and the peaceful atmosphere it brings to my life. I appreciate the sights and sounds around me when I meander my ass through the woods alone.
MGTOW Hermit?
Or just a man peacefully doing his own thing? There was a time in my life when I gave a fuck. Now you have to pay ME for it
I would love to be able to afford a Thoreau experience—live in a cabin in the woods for a couple of years and do some writing. I feel alone when I’m in a crowd of strangers. I feel alive when I’m in the wilderness all by myself. Shutting out the human drama and criticisms of my society and taking a walk on a forest trail or sitting next to a stream is a peaceful experience.
"I saw that there comes a point, in the defeat of any man of virtue, when his own consent is needed for evil to win-and that no manner of injury done to him by others can succeed if he chooses to withhold his consent. I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was ‘No.’" (Atlas Shrugged)

I was recently looking up books on living alone and came up with the following list. I’ll probably order a couple for eventual reading:
–Party of One: The Loners’ Manifesto, by Anneli Rufus
–Going Solo: The Extraordinary Rise and Surprising Appeal of Living Alone, by Eric Klinenberg
–Solitude: A Return to the Self, by Anthony StorrOff-topic:

There’s nothing wrong with making people aware that you have some content on youtube. But people here are really picky about wanting to see an introduction. Tuna (female trolls) are constantly trying to infiltrate, so people want to see an introduction in order to get a feel for who you are before they’ll invest any time or credence in you.
