I have wonder about concepts similar to the NPC meme. When I make comments that cause the eyes to glaze over of people I talk to I sometimes wonder about such concepts.

Alot of Aussies I speak to say we have no culture here. I’m like wtf, we live on an island, we have the great outdoors on our doorstep, unspoilt beaches, bushland and reserves all around. We have international foodie flavours to gorge out on on, lots of mad crazy drinkers, but can back it up the next day with a trip to the beach to chase waves, or ride bike around town or through the bush.

Backpackers get out of the cities and rough it for weeks on end living out of their little converted vans. Campsites, coastal trippin, hangin with mates, the gym scene, fitness persuits, yet people say we have no culture here. As if to say we need to download the latest goss from Hollyweird or go jetsetting to see how other nations are fairing against our so called cultureless crowded suburban spaces.

Attitude is a big part of how we see the bigger picture, and I think a fight back against SJW is long overdue, NPC from what I can see is a fun little dig at their obsessive mud slinging.

Memes, in general, have become very powerful tools to those who can use it effectively (those on the right).

I find it quite amusing that those on the left are not good at creating memes that are actually funny.
I’m pretty sure it has a lot to do with comedy, in general, and that is something that is being taken over by the right, as well.

I’ve noticed that those on the left are offended by memes and comedians that they don’t agree with, and they subsequently have them banned.

The “comedy” shows on late night tv are nothing more than lefties attempting to pander to other lefties and they are failing miserably.
Has anyone watched Saturday Night Live in the past 20 years?

I think this phenomena has a lot to do with the feeling that “it’s funny because it’s true”.
People on the right can see their own flaws, weaknesses or idiosyncrasies, and be able to laugh at themselves; even at the truly tasteless or hurtful stuff.

Most on the left fly into a rage and ban the things they disagree with, like the memes.
They are able to do that because they have had control of media, and thus public opinion, for several decades, now.

Online humor and websites like this one, with free expression of opinions are still new and becoming much more powerful in the world of influence.

That is a primary reason that sites like this are attacked.
