this book really digs deep into all facets of manipulation from motherhood, religion, other men, advertising, economics, and more.
It made me question what I already knew, except it is a relentless description that just keeps beating down any barriers that were remaining in my social conditioning.
We’re talking about brainwashing, which is a harsher sounding word than ‘social conditioning’ or ‘programming’ or ‘learned behavior’.
Brainwashing is hard to overcome. I can only image someone who has fallen for the false idols of ‘women’ and how they would react.
I was born questioning everything around me and never in my life wanted to marry or have children. I am in the extreme minority in this respect. Since I can never know how it is to be any other person other than myself, I do imagine this book will be nothing short of a complete mindf~~~ for 99% of men.
I recommend spending the 7 bucks and getting the Kindle version instead of watching/listening to any s~~~ labeled ‘mgtow’ on youtube or anywhere else. This book is a prerequisite and should be mandatory reading for anyone brave enough to become ‘free’.
What was NOT covered in this book was the extreme danger of women being able to use the state to put men in cages with just a phone call. To me, this is the real threat. I’ve seen it and have known men who are innocent of any wrongdoing having to deal with this assault on mens’ freedoms.
Thanks KeyMaster for putting this in your list of books.
One book I HIGHLY suggest is ‘How I Found Freedom in an Unfree World’ by Harry Browne.
I started reading it and had to put it down for two days. I realised I needed to ‘ready’ myself first. It took those two days for me to calm down.
You’re right … it’s a real mind f~~~ ….. and you need to prepare for that.
It’s an amazing book and I knew much more after reading it ……. and still ponder it now.
The darkness is institutional.
I understand that feeling of having to put things down. I had that repeatedly with ‘How I Found Freedom in an Unfree World’ by Harry Browne.
But this Manipulated Man book…I stormed through it in a couple hours.
Looks like I found my next book. Thanks.

I think at the time and place the book was first written, that danger was not as severe as it is today. As we all know, a woman can have a man jailed for the most casual of reasons.
Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?
In the intro, the author mentions ‘over thirty five years have passed’ since the first publication. Probably 2007 or 2008 was the time she reviewed and edited anything she felt necessary. It’s understandable that she would not be aware of such a thing since it’s a pretty recent phenomenon…even most men today do not know the storm trooper tactic of false allegations. I guess I just miss the good ‘ol days 🙂
The book is a must read. I’ve been meaning to make a full review on it but never found the time. It’s also written by a woman. What better insight? I’ve heard she had an extreme backlash from women all over the world that haunted her for decades.
A MUST READ.

@ Q-cummer:
You’re right that issue of the book was released around 2008, whilst the original was released as early as in the beginning of the 70s. So this is one new edition but in German there’s already yet another later/newer edition out (release in Germany about 2012) covering about 400 pages in total, now there’s your real “mind-f~~~ 2.5”. I bought it about a flat week ago (unfortunately it’s currently only in German around 9 or 10 buck / 13 EUROs), I am busily reading it, and at least for the time being, although I can’t at this early stage write any review yet I made a few efforts to translate some of her quotes from the latest added chapters… Last week just upon my purchase of it I opened another thread regarding a collection for more classical modern quotes by Esther Vilar. It’s the “The latest issue of Esther Vilar’s famous book” thread in case you might be interested to read it for further details…

Yeah, I’d say every man needs to read this book at least once.
I understand that feeling of having to put things down. I had that repeatedly with ‘How I Found Freedom in an Unfree World’ by Harry Browne. But this Manipulated Man book…I stormed through it in a couple hours.
I did the same thing when I first read through Sex-Ploytation, another book I recommend for men. It was meant to be an update to the Manipulated Man. The only problem I see is that it doesn’t emphasize men giving up on women all together, just being more selective. The Anatomy of Female Power is also a good one for sharpening your mind to the tricks women use.
EDIT: Apparently, the women are trying to turn the tables yet again. Look up “the Manipulative Man” if you’re curious. Jesus.

Thanks for the thread link!
I wonder why the heck it is not in English by now..
Direct answer, Q-cummer: Patience, broth’. Eventually it’ll come out again, I’m sure …

Anyone ever read “State of Fear”?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/State_of_Fear
It is against man-made view of climate change, and questions it, but I am not mention it here for this. This is a spoiler, if you want to not see it, drop out of this and stop looking. I have to make mention of it here, because I say it would relate to this, and will go on a few lines below.
In the book, a scientist discusses how civilization is held together by a common fear that is held (this is the core of the book). I am of the belief, after the Cold War ended, there was a longing for the next thing to fear. Today, the Zombie Apocalypse is played around with. What I see here, with this, on the Right, is a fear of terrorism and militant Islam. On the left, Climate Change/Global Warming became the thing on the Left.
These fears and other common things that drive emotions keep people in a mind matrix with others. You deviate from this, you don’t fit in, and this not fitting in is another thing that manipulates.

Anonymous18Read the Manipulated Man and the predatory female back to back each in one sitting over 2 days. I had the good kind of PTSD. Like a high after you merely miss a car on the highway. Of course after the holy f~~~ity f~~~ moment settles in.
I am sad that the world will never seem as rosy as it once did. We all have to grow up, even if we don’t want to.
@iLearn Do you think The Predatory Female is worth reading as far as adding any insight that The Manipulated Male did not cover?
Thank you for posting this recommendation. I immediately dropped what I was doing and read the whole thing. It read like a god damn checklist of all the ways I’ve been exploited in my life… the WORST part is that I predicted the ending… spoiler alert: get comfortable, there is nothing you can do about it and nothing is going to change.

This is like the Bible to me 🙂
I felt like there was something that wasn’t quite right and this book showed me pure clarity !

Anonymous5“The Manipulated Man” enabled me to interpret the “Crazyness” and Blue Pill unpredictable nature of women.
Once you read that book you realise there’s method in their madness and they’re 100% predictable.
It’s the decadent nature of their needs and wants that defy reason not the way they go about getting them.
Any woman alive wouldn’t hesitate to put a man through a pound of pain to get her ounce of satisfaction. You can look back at all the horrendous female behaviour you’ve experienced and witnessed and realise it wasn’t just the females you knew first hand, or at your school or work, or in your neighbourhood or town or even country. It was the behaviour and mind set of women.
All the book does is cure your cognitive dissonance regarding women.
Every day of our lives we experience their asswipe behaviour and then go to bed at night and wake up in the morning still believing they’re basically good, kind hearted and caring. It still takes up to a year or so, by observing female behaviour around you, to fully comprehend the entirety of Vilar’s claims.
No man can ever be quite the same after he reads it.It’s a good read and good info. You know when a woman author gets death threats (as she did) from feminists she is writing something worth reading.

Anonymous18@iLearn Do you think The Predatory Female is worth reading as far as adding any insight that The Manipulated Male did not cover?
Definitely. The PF emphasizes on women psyche in the dating world, in marriage and also divorce.
More pouring of salt on blue pill wounds some of us have suffered.

Anonymous5I go with ilearn on this. It’s more salt but in a way, you can see the funny side too when he describes how females go into their routines and rituals of fooling men. He’s so spot on, it’s almost like he was there observing my relationships, all our relationships.
His observation that no man ever goes up against a woman. He’s always dealing with “The Committee” is so true it’s hilarious. It’s probably why women cut us out from the herd. They don’t want us to have “committees” or second opinions of any kind. (like they do). They’re cunning insecure c~~~s with their resource. The last 25% of the PF is dated and certainly doesn’t apply to Australian legal matters.
PF is definitely essential reading and another quick read for anyone contemplating a male/female relationship of any kind.
