He caters his videos to men that are new to MGTOW. Short snippets of information, with very basic content, designed to attract views through title and thumbnails. Sandman was all the rage a few years back, i can’t really blame him, he was probably getting some good money for barely any work.

I don’t know about him being a back-stabbing mangina c~~~ but I usually get something out of his vids, my only complaint is that he is not very succinct and he tends to be repetitive. I get the point in the first 2 minutes and then the rest is fluff.

I think he caters to the newbies. I know, if it wasn’t for Mr. Sandman, my journey to MGTOW would have been much more difficult. I appreciate what he does and, that is, he helps the blue pillers, of which I was once.

I think he helps the cause on a recruitment level. After that, MGTOW. He only introduces the concept.

I’m not going to be hard on Sandman. There’s no doubt he’s a great intro to mgtow otherwise alternatives for most people would have to be spetsnaz, barbarossa, thinking ape, etc and those guys are a bitter red pill to swallow. Sandman is light, easy going and kind of goes with the flow whilst the others throw the whole picture at you.

It’s probably worth doing the search if you’re interested, but I’ll summarise what I remember.

He basically did a video where, for no discernable reason I could see at the time, he basically threw out the line, “are we just walking away because we’re cowards?”, or something to that effect.

MGTOW who had been divorce raped, who’ve done time for false DV accusations in a silver bullet, who haven’t seen their kids in years, who’ve lost people close to them to suicide, men for whom just making it through every day is a struggle – well, the ‘coward’ line didn’t go down well for them. Sandman started slapping the ‘mgtow’ label on his thing after a 9 year relationship went sour. In one video, he made a serious mistake – and was loudly called out for it by “Messenger” – when he started telling mgtow to “stop whining and get over it” as if that’s what makes a MGHOW. Predictable shaming s~~~ you can expect like clockwork and he really screwed the pooch with that.

( You can get a general vibe about this by searching the forums for “Sandman” for a backstory. )

Imagine if he had arrived at MGTOW and the community told him to “stop whining and get over it”. The very point is to be understood, because MGTOW are about the only people who WILL.

Perhaps in his case, that’s what makes a MGHOW , and you have to acknowledge …. if that relationship had worked out (or turned into a marriage ) there might be no “Sandman” at all.

I spoke to Messenger personally (3 times) and that man experienced more than just a “failed relationship”. He dealt with a complete upheaval and ruining of his life – including prison time – at the whimsical machinations of a female who deliberately set out to destroy. He was not going to peacefully allow the MacDonald’s Hamburger of MGTOW to tell him “stop whining and get over it”.

It was totally unacceptable.

In the same conversation with Messenger, MGTOW “Shining Light” also attended, and he is a father in the UK who will never see his three children again. So while Sandman is serving up a burger every day in a “MGTOW” box – which you know exactly what it’s going to taste like before you bite into it – there are men who don’t even CARE about the goddam acronym, because they are far more concerned about REBUILDING THEIR LIVES from the gutter.

They can do without being told to “stop whining and get over it”.
