I will say though, that this stuff goes beyond being purely cosmetic. It serves several actually pretty legitimate medical functions. I looked into applications for it and there is thought of using it for burn victims, applying medications topically, treatments for a host of other skin diseases like eczema or psoriasis. Also I saw a potential for use as a seamless covering for people with artificial limbs.
