    I don’t mind going back.

As long as I can still buy a Toyota, Honda or Mazda.

    Amazing cars and bulletproof.
Currently got the more conservative auris SR, which is a little belter. I used to have the Mazda 323F 1.8 140 bhp…kept it for 7 years and did over 190k miles.

Yeah drove over Snake pass in 3 foot of snow coming back from sheffield in one – they were putting the closed signs up as i came through at glossop.

Test drove a GT86 a while ago-din’t like it-if I can find one with under 60,000 mile son it with no rust I’m getting another Celica.

problem with them is back then japanese alloys were s~~~ and corroded badly very qucikly and went porous so you see a lot with aftermarket alloys on

Hell fire Snake Pass in snow??!! You were lucky to get through! If you’d had the low down early 90s 323F, you would have been flying all over the road…one drop of snow and they became a motorized sledge!

Back in the day when petrol was cheaper, I nearly ended up buying a mid-80s Supra. Got talked out of that one by the lass I was going out with (ended up in a bag o s~~~e XR2). I could see myself in a Celica…

Yeah I remember the 323 nearly bought an MX3 years ago.

With winter tyres if you go slow snow aint too bad in a front wheel drive car-rear wheel drive -forget it.

With driving on snow you need to be smooth and gentle (as you should be anyway) -most people are just crap drivers to be honest.

Trouble is most of us just leave summer tyres on all year round.
