The Laundry List

A co-worker described to me how he was raised and that he knew I was raised in a similar household and described the ‘Laundry List’ which is a list of personality traits the people who were raised as children of alcoholics tend to have.

I have many of these traits, but find I learn better from more descriptive works, such as books that dig into the cause and symptoms and ways to cope with them… searching hasn’t brought me any serious books about the laundry list that I can find near me… has anyone dug through this type of material before and what did you find?

No longer can we walk away, we must run. Remove the motive power.
