According to the NY Times (sorry I couldn’t get the link to work), now the bar association is looking back into Kavanaugh. Seems like 12 years ago they questioned his personality and knocked him down a notch on their rating system. Given his unhinged testimony last week they are now looking back into their recommendation of Kavanaugh for the Supreme Court.

A last ditch effort to swing one Senator. I wonder what else will be thrown out there in the next day and a half.

I’m literally eating popcorn as I type this.

As long as the vote is held, the Republicans will win, either with Judge Kavanaugh confirmed and they keep their holdings in the mid-terms with a few seats picked up, or Judge Kavanaugh is loses the vote and this enrages the Republican voters to sweep the mid-term elections.

    …to Satan?

All my life I've had doubts about who I am, where I belonged. Now I'm like the arrow that springs from the bow. No hesitation, no doubts. The path is clear. And what are you? Alive. Everything else is negotiable. Women have rights; men have responsibilities; MGTOW have freedom. Marriage is for chumps. Given his unhinged testimony last week

?? I watched his testimony. I didn’t see an unhinged man.

I saw a man in emotional turmoil due to being called a sexual abuser and serial rapist in front of the whole nation, in front of his family and who somehow found the strength through that onslaught……to punch back.

I’m glad a high profile man pushed back.

Men of less circumstance have faced these kind of unsubstantiated charges by women for a few decades now, and been railroaded out of jobs and house and home. There good names sullied and all on the basis of a woman saying he did something to her. This on the notion that a woman must be believed.

I was glad he called it out for what it was. I did not find it unhinged in the least. I was hoping he’d scorch everyone one of the folks that participated in the sham.

My hope is more men unjustly accused will use his reaction as motivation and an example to fight back and not accept such an injustice with calmness.

How can a woman be expected to be happy with a man who insists on treating her as if she were a perfectly normal human being.

Yeah, that was sarcasm in the original post. The left is identifying him as unhinged and now the ABA is trying to go along with them in hopes it will turn one Senator against him.

None of this has anything to do with Kavanaugh or Ford. It only has to do with Roe vs. Wade. Everyone and everything else is just collateral damage. I would argue that even the right, who is in the right as far as due process, etc., only stands on moral high ground in this argument by accident.

All you need to know is that Blasey Ford is up to her neck in a company that makes abortion pills.

    Really.

She should be given the maximum penalty for Rape in the dingiest prison going.

I have heard a few talking about how voters are p~~~ed over the treatment of Kavanaugh. If this holds true the mid terms will be a bad day for the dems.

Last I’ve read 1 Republican will be voting against him and 1 Democrat will be voting for him…so he’ll be 1 vote over the threshold. If a yes vote swings no at the last minute it will be a tie and VP Pence will cast a vote to break it…so it will be a win for Kavanaugh. They’ll have to swing 2 votes at this point, and that probably won’t be happening.

I hope so…if someone was against him because they didn’t like his political leanings and they thought he’d be biased I could at least respect that. I know the feeling well because that is how I felt with Kagan and Sotomayer were nominated.

However…trying to say he isn’t fit because he’s guilty of crimes while there is zero evidence to support the claim is absurd. I think we all know this was just a stunt to try to delay Kavanaugh’s nomination at this point. Its like the race card stopped having any impact because its so over played, so now its on to the rape card. Hopefully this whole fiasco wakens some men the f~~~ up.

I’ve also heard some libs saying its ok for democrats to delay the confirmation because Republicans did it to Garland. It f~~~ing blows my mind what type of reasoning they go through that somehow Republican’s saying “We have the majority, we aren’t voting for that guy” is equal to “We’re going to falsely accuse that guy of being a rapist to delay the vote.” One of them is a legal process of which the Republican’s only met the vote threshold to even do because Harry Reid changed the rules, while the other is slander and defamation of character, which are illegal.

After all the s~~~ the Democrats and those lying c~~~s put Kavanaugh through over the months, they had better confirm him. I can’t imagine what it would be like if it was all for nothing after all that bulls~~~ they put him and his family through. They better confirm him!

I already voted 2 days ago, and I voted straight through Republicans in Illinois governor, US Congress and Kane County politics! If the Dems ever get my vote, they will have to work much harder and do a lot of apologizing for their radical extremism. That’ll be the day.

There will be five results from the Kavanaugh nomination: 1. Kavanaugh is going to get confirmed. 2. The Republican leadership is coalescing and will be much stronger against the Democratic Party. 3. The Republican base is much more fired up than before. 4. The Kavanaugh has no chance of ever slipping to the left during his many, many years as Supreme Court Justice. 5. The Democratic Party loses a bit of credibility, due to: a) men becoming concerned about getting shafted by the party. b) The Democrats beginning to look a bit desperate and underhanded, and c). Specific Democrats looking bad. Examples: Spartacus Booker, Maisie just shut up and man up, Feinstein (for a multitude of reasons), Pelosi, etc. Etc. All in all, the blue wave was slowed down or eliminated by this Democratic disaster.

We just don't realize life's most significant events while they're happening. Back then, I thought, "Well, there'll be other days". I didn't realize that that was the only day. - "Moonlight" Graham
