Basically true, but there are nuances. The President is not subject to civil suits for acts committed while President, or in his official role as President.

However, Clinton v. Jones, 520 U.S. 681 (1997), was a landmark United States Supreme Court case establishing that a sitting President of the United States has no immunity from civil law litigation, in federal court, against him or her, for acts done before taking office and unrelated to official duties of the office.

How can a woman be expected to be happy with a man who insists on treating her as if she were a perfectly normal human being.

It should be noted that the ruling dealt with Independent Council Ken Starr, over the Clinton’s stonewalling him at every time. And the independent council statue that was being used is different than the current one.

This should be interesting considering there several of President Trump accusers caught lying to him to entrap him and accuse him of crimes. The people investigating him have conflicts of interest, including some of the federal judges overseeing the matter.

Legitimacy of authority is quickly eroding. Forcing the President to have a meeting that is already connecting to acts of entrapment against the President by people with conflicts of interest, with all the appears of hopes of gaining a process crime and impeachment is not going to happen.

If the President is forced into a situation where he is accused of a crime by being forced into said situation, with the efforts being to remove him from office, this nation well tear itself apart.
