Yeah, that’s me. I’m a hermit. And I like it that way.
Luckily, I haven’t gone through the awful things that some of the men here have. I am 30 years old, and I have had quite a few girlfriends, and none of those have ended in the crash and burn that many of you have described. I just got bored.
I find women beautiful to look at. They’re curvy and smooth and they smell nice. I particularly like a nice, shapely pair of breasts. Also, some of them have absolutely lovely voices (not all of them – a lot of them sound like a couple of porcupines f~~~ing on a blackboard). The thing is that aside from all of that, they’re just not very interesting. They talk about the same mundane s~~~ all the time. The prettiness keeps me interested for a while, but then… I just get bored. Also, they’re just too high-maintenance. Ain’t nobody got time for dat.
I’d rather dedicate my life to more worthy pursuits, and fully realize my potential as a human being instead of wasting time with all that fantasy world rom-com bulls~~~.
Oh, but when I refer to women, that does not include my mother and my sister – those women are SAINTS, dammit!
Welcome Warrior!
I too live a life of solitude aside from work. I’m quite the affable fellow and can make friends with just about any guy I meet, yet I’m quite content to sit in my apartment and entertain myself. I’m not lonely, and if I ever to begin to feel so, I will do something about it. Extroverts think there is something wrong with me, but they lack the fundamental understanding of who they are themselves. Extroverts find it maddening to be socially isolated because they can only operate by feeding off of other people’s energy. I am an introvert and I create my own energy for life. I find it maddening to be at a party and feel all those goddamn vampires leeching of my energy reserves.
Lust for comfort suffocates the soul
Women will come and go, as often felines do. When they come, they bring a lot of trinkets and a horde of people, her friends, her family, her work mates, her gym mates, her mates mates, her kids etc etc. And when they leave, all they leave is malted hair and space. Which is quickly cleared and filled with hobbies and interests. Solitude, is not the hovel of a recluse but the mansion of a master,
