Donkey Kong Country did indeed have great music.

No-one mentioned anything Ultima? U3 was awesome for it’s day, and what about Stones, or Blackthorn’s Revenge?

Look up Raptor: Call of the Shadows. Released April 1st, 1994, vertical scroller game, by Apogee Software (now Mountain King Studios). Surprising remixes are being made of their tracks.

The Last of Us had the best music I’ve ever heard in a game. The whole soundtrack is just plain awesome.
