Remember this story? Sad. Sweet. Almost inexplicably revealing. Hair can be regrown. Wealth can as well. Love is a thing of the past. Thanks, PC police.

Thank you for wiping your repulsive asscrack with what was left of our humanity.

Beautifully stating the ruin of our society that depends on consumption by the regular people. They should have been happy with what they had and meat on the table.

A most wise 90 year old friend told me that soon after meeting my ex-wife he and his were sure it would not work out as I did not make enough money to continuously give her the gift of the Magi.

So, the Magi invented consumerism. They were wise little devils, everyone.

The gift of the magi is the story where the guy sells off something for the woman, and the woman sells something off for the man, to buy each other gifts they found useless because they bought items for what they other person had?

Ok, I am going to be VERY blunt here.  I find that story immensely stupid in nature.  It shows the nature of sacrifice as a glorious end in itself, and is used by society to trumpet people becoming less for a greater good.  Oh wow, so you showed someone you really cared?  Really?  It is manipulative and stupid, in my opinion.  I was actually thinking of doing a video where I point out how that story is stupid.

Want to know a better love?  It is a love where both the giver and the receiver of the act of love end up greater than who they are before, not less but they know the other person really cared.  Dysfunctional relationships ask individuals to give up their most prized possessions for the sake of the other, so all they get is feelings of knowing someone cares.  It, flat out, is dysfunctional.

But, feel free to feel otherwise.  I think that story is a prime one to show what you don’t do if you are MGTOW.  What matters is not how much you suffer, but how much others are blessed by what you do, and your ability to also become better, so then you can do more.

You were drunk when you posted that here?  Yes, a basic rule is don’t use the Internet while drunk, because you go back and go “WTF?” later.  Anyhow, that is just my reaction to it.  Don’t sweat it otherwise.

I think what I was trying to say was that this story would not be considered PC nowadays because it implies that what women have to offer is with regards to physical beauty, and what men have to offer involves financial wealth.

-In reality, though, I was just wasted and trying to be poetic or some s~~~.

I know it is possible to overthink things (here Keymaster chimes in with a nod), and get too fancy and end up missing a more simple point.  You did have a good point you were trying to make, but just the wrong story to make a point with.  I guess booze can have that effect.  Myself, I lay off booze for a reason, in addition to the fact that alcohol tastes to me what floor cleaner would smell like to other people.
