How about base salaries on actual ticket draws. Compare NBA crowds to WNBA crowd sizes. The WNBA photos look like it’s a high school girls basketball game going on.

We will see the pay gap greatly widen in most sports.

Women want everything, but want responsibility and accountability for nothing.

How about the women play the same number of sets as men? Double standards.

    I. Don’t. Care.

Every time I turn on the news, especially the BBC, they seem determined to push Women’s Football (that’s soccer stateside) on my senses. Or bloody women’s hockey. Or women’s boxing. Or women’s bloody cricket. Or any other sport that’s usually male-orientated that now seems to be the premise of women.

I’m not a big lover of footy (apart from Euros and World Cup), but if I keep seeing this s~~~e I’m throwing my TV out! Women’s golf….well there’s always an exception!

There is no gender pay gap in professional sports. There is merely a major league versus minor league pay gap.

The NBA is major league. The WNBA is a sexist minor league that prohibits male players. Women can play in the NBA if they’re good enough. Men can’t play in the WNBA. Why should a sexist minor league be paid the same as a major league?

I am actually surprised that the sport industry is still somewhat untouched when it comes to this kind of bulls~~~. I say untouched, but then I see groups of teams wearing pink shirts to represent women issues on the matter of breast cancer. I guess prostate cancer despite being more prevalent then breast cancer isn’t important because f~~~ guys right?

No kidding. Golf already puts me to sleep. Its like watching flies f~~~, why the hell would I want to watch women play golf. Unless they are wearing see though shirts, or something that doesn’t put me to sleep.

Aside from rick and morty, anime, and maybe some cooking shows, I don’t watch tv at all.

That i didn’t know that. But come to think of it. I never seen the NBA make a rule that prohibits women from participate to join a team.

    And you never will.

NONE of the professional sports leagues have any rules prohibiting women from play. Even if they wanted to prohibit women, which they don’t, they legally can’t because there are laws against that sort of hiring practice. Laws which somehow don’t get enforced on the WNBA. Because “equality”.

I don’t know about other sports, but I do know in baseball there have been a number of female players good enough to play in the majors. In the 1930s a female pitcher (whose name I cannot recall apart from the fact that it was complicated) struck out Lou Gehrig and Babe Ruth himself in the same game. Keep in mind that this happened when many truly excellent Black players were still relegated to the negro leagues. In fact I suspect it was the breaking of that color barrier with Jackie Robinson that pushed women out of the majors. Some women at the far end of the bell curve had a slight chance of making the cut compared to the white gentlemen players of their day. But against the hard core Black players forged in the hard boiled negro leagues they had no chance whatsoever.

I had a row with some dumb feminist I used to work with where she said women’s footballers should get paid as much as Premier League stars. Wayne Rooney – watched by 100s millions all over the globe vs some lesbo playing in front of 100 people on a non-league pitch…yeah she should get paid £200k a week

    Utterly clueless
