These are my predictions for the USA:

I see this country as a place where people will get a good education and learn how to manage businesses. The federal government will continue its role of: giving “rations” to the working poor to keep them from rioting in the streets, keeping track of all human activities with cameras, satellites, and supercomputers, collecting tax revenue, and manipulating the power struggles inside small nations—with military might— in a manner that gives certain industries the advantage of acquiring more natural resources. Race won’t matter much in the future. People will complain less about race and more about social class. The poor will envy the middle class, and the middle class will envy the rich. The number of billionaires will double every decade. The internet is here to stay, and WiFi will probably be free in 20 years. More people will drive electric cars and the federal government will continue to give generous tax breaks to anyone who buys one or does something that’s energy efficient (such as: installing solar panels). Public transportation will improve. There will be more shuttle buses and trains available to move people from place to place because they will be tired of traffic jams on the highways. A lot of people in the urban areas won’t buy a car because it will be too expensive to fuel and maintain—-and the parking spaces will be very limited. The main occupations people have will be related to service (retail sales), transportation & shipping, business management, business consulting, computer programming/software engineering, marketing, accounting/bookkeeping, clerical work with a lot of data entry and data processing, electronics, construction, support services (cleaning, landscaping), property management, banking/finance, and investing. Most of the manufacturing of goods will be done outside of the United States and future generations will sell these products and also manage the multi-national corporations that distribute these products. Many Americans with business degrees will move to other nations to work as business consultants for American companies that manufacture goods abroad or foreign companies. The fastest growing racial demographic will be Latin Americans—-mostly due to immigration, but that trend could subside as more manufacturing jobs increase in Latin American countries. I also predict that millions of people from Asian countries will buy property in the USA and live here while managing their business interests and sending their kids to Ivy League universities. Employers worldwide will look for applicants that are highly educated and highly skilled at their particular occupations. College degrees will be as common as high school diplomas. Many young American adults, fresh out of college, may find their first job in a developing nation. They may spend half of their adult lives living outside of the United States while working for national or foreign corporations. Many wealthy people around the world will continue to send their children to American universities, and they will also buy large shares of American corporations and real estate. Many companies that used to be solely American owned and had that “Made In America” stamp on their products will most likely be bought by wealthy business owners in foreign countries such as China and India. Marriages will probably be delayed until people reach their 30s or 40s because a lot of people will be too busy working, taking business courses, or doing something to increase their ability to make money and advance their careers. Most men and women will remain single for at least a decade after college in order to establish themselves financially and pay off their student loans. As a lot of American men travel overseas to work, they will probably marry women in foreign countries who are willing to play the role of the traditional housewife because of their culture. In the meantime, people will continue to meet via social media and get together for dating/sex before they have time for a serious relationship and raising kids. Dating will be more casual and American women will be more proactive in seeking out a man to date. The universities will want to know about your grades, test scores, and special talents—which will have to be outstanding in order to beat the competition for enrollment. Employers will want to know the same and about your degrees, certificates, special skills, good references, and if you make a good presentation during the job interview. The trend of background checks, credit checks, psychological tests, and multiple interviews will continue before you’re considered worthy of being hired by a company. The bottom line is: what can you do to increase sales? They won’t care about your race, family heritage, gender, your neighborhood, or where you came from because it’s all about getting customers to buy whatever they’re selling—WORLDWIDE. And what matters to the politicians is: social order. They will make sure the police and national guard are well-equipped to subdue any sort of angry protest or political uprising by those who refuse to conform to their social management goals.

Friendly advice – I tried reading this but its honestly straining because its a wall of text. Put some paragraph breaks in there. It makes for a more enjoyable read.

I found your wall of text hard to read as well.

From what I was able to read though – I think the pendulum swings back and forth, at the moment it is to the Left and all the cracks are starting to show, if you look at Europe for example you have Far Right Wing parties becoming more and more powerful. The same will happen in the USA, people will get fed up of the Leftist crap and fight back.

I was talking with a friend the other month who is Left Leaning and even she had to admit that Obama was a lie. That says a lot right there when you have the ones who did believe turning away.

A lot of the future you describe is already present, Fun. You’re basically saying things will be just as f~~~ed up only with new f~~~ed up things and some improvements mainly in the business world. Still, your future is rather optimistic and I catch myself hoping they don’t blow themselves, and the rest of us, to kingdom come between now and then.

Ditto! Put in lots of white space.

Currently waiting to see if Americans still have what it takes to save the microcosm of their country, if not then it will be clear the American dream is dead.

    the American dream is dead.

Surprisingly, the American dream is still realized by a lot of people, it’s just a lot more complicated to get a house, car, nice job. I remember there were less laws & restrictions to put up with 30 years ago. I don’t understand some people’s obsession with laws and regulations. If a law has more pages than the Holy Bible, it’s probably not worth passing.

It’s not dead just yet. We’ll know soon enough though.
