I find the flat earth theory fascinating, really. Not so much the theory itself, but in how people can believe something like this by emotional pleas, incomplete facts, and faulty logic.

It causes me to question what I believe as well, in just about everything. Of course, if question leads me to believe something different, I should question that too, so I’m pretty much better off believing what I already believe till it has been clearly proven to be false or damaging.

If the Earth was flat, the space station would not appear to slowly rise in the horizon as it crosses the night sky. What keeps the ISS up there if it isn’t orbiting a round planet? How can we see two passes in the same direction in the same night? Have you ever seen the space station fly over? If so, what do you believe that bright light is? There are sites that tell you exactly when and where you’ll be able to see it, but you probably don’t believe in the International Space Station.

IF, this round Earth “lie” has been going on for century after century, RedPillGreenMedicine, what is the purpose of this “conspiracy”? What would anyone gain from trying to convince people that the Earth is round instead of flat?

Why don’t you flat earthers start a fund to send a flat earth representative into space so you can once and for all prove to the world that it’s flat, or rather, see for yourselves that it is actually round? I would actually contribute to this fund if I thought it would stop all this nonsense. However, something tells me that even if you were able to go to space and see for yourself that this planet is round, you’d claim to have been drugged, or hypnotized, or brainwashed, or some other bulls~~~ like the windows on the spacecraft are shaped to make the Earth look spherical. Perhaps you would even accuse your own flat earth representative of being paid off to lie and say that the Earth is round, yes?
